I know the answer is probably no, but I have to ask anyways. Quality of life has been horrible for me since late spring. I've struggled with IBS my whole life, but lately things have taken a turn for the worse, and I'm almost positive I have ulceritive colitis. This can't be reversed, correct?
Medical professionals say it is a life long disease, but after countless hours of research, it seems some people have cured it through various methods, such as fasting, juicing and giving the body time to heal itself. Shamefully I admit I need to quit my excessive beer habit. Not a cause, but its exacerbating the symptoms. Weed is definitely an excellent band aid for this disease, but not a cure. I've never tried edibles, although Gry's tea sounds interesting. I see your a proponent of ginger? Good stuff. Turmeric root is good too.....Not the yellow powder, but the root. Basically I just want my life back. I grow a big vegetable garden every year and could hardly enjoy anything this summer. I'm sick of bland foods. I hang out on the "Food Porn" thread, so you can imagine how much this sucks for me. Bought a brand new kayak and barely used it because of the discomfort. Sorry for rant, but I needed to get this off my chest. I'm mostly a recreational user of weed, but I am so grateful to have it readily available during this time. |

What Drs don't know will shorten your life. See my post dated 6/6. You need to do a series of colonics and liver cleanses to clear your lower intestines, gallbladder and liver. Eliminate junk food/fast food from your diet will help expedite healing. Add fermented veggies; sauerkraut, Kimche + digestive enzymes I am now taking 4+ heaping tspns per day from Vitality Science https://www.vitalityscience.com/prod...t-enzymes-dog/ hth
