well DG has been doin a few contests for IC growers, and we dont have a official bud pic deal goin so id like to start one up. see how it goes, and maybe it will turn into somethin.

nominate pics here from IC threads, after two weeks ill post a poll on the nominated pics, the growers here will vote the winner.

so it will run every two weeks until I get canned or told its not a good idea.

Yes, we need a pic contest and I've been meaning to get it all organized.

Would like to see it be something actually sponsored by the site, instead of individual members, addresses alot of security concerns when sending out prizes as well.

Instead of this being done on a weekly basis, perhaps a POTM (monthly) would be a better idea? Would give more of a chance to be nominated and the one keeping up with the POTM more time to keep everything sorted/organized.

Would be nice to have the POTM winners pics even further selected for POTI (Pic of the Issue) for ICmag. One pic from the previous months (quarterly at the moment) could be featured in the mag?
