Grape Romulan bx1

got these beans from a buddy who was kind enough to pass them along. mucho respecto to the Brothers of Stank, cus this lady has the strongest, most foul, skunky smell that i have come across in a while. she is about 45 days in or so, and has a sister that has little variation other than a softer smell and a little less frost. no purple on them, we shall see if any pops up in the next few weeks.

Hey ChemD - surprise, surprise - nice to see ya playing in the Stank! Thanks for posting!

Question - are these Bx1 or Bx2? Both were Phillthy's work - but we did release a few packs of Bx2 under the Stank Bros label!

Either way, the Bx2, was Grom x [Grom x (Grom x Grape Krush)] - GROM is a great plant and the resulting backcrosses we're excellent representations of the clone - especially in regards to frost and that white grape juice smell!

What kind of flavor are you getting from them?

I just did a BHO run of some Grape Romulan and Juicy Fruit and it is some of the most amazing tasting hash I have ever tried.. it leaves a taste like sucking on a grape jollyrancher.

I received a 10g sample of the Grape Romulan BX1 last weekend and I have to tell ya' it's some of the best flowers I've come across in a good while. Maybe it's just to my taste but the flowers are hard as a rock and carry a heavy grape smell.Rolling a joint without a grinder was like rolling a joint of pebbles, I could barely break it up.
Searching around here trying to identify the mystery plant I have finishing labeled CBDB, I found this thread.I had no clue as to where the Grape Rom came from.In the end I had to break down and cut off a branch to try and make an id by the smell. It def smells exactly like my jar of CBDB so even though the plant didn't look like the others and is finishing later it must be a longer flowering CBDB.Anyway I'm glad I found this thread so I could throw in my 2 cents on the Grape Romulan BX1.This is about the only batch of flowers I've come across that I needed a grinder, usually I can cut it up well enough...The pebbly joint burnt like a cig anyway and lasted about 20 minutes.I had to go out and take a walk afterwards, it certainly put the fright in me for a bit...

Heya Slip - Grom clone came from Greyskull...go figure - that man knows his cannabis...and Grom is proof to that pudding. Grom is Purple Indica x Romulan. The Grom x GK male that Phillthy used to start the Bx'ing projects came from some Retardo Motabon work - same GK male he used to make the Bubba Kush x Grape Krush, in which Phillthy found the "BKGK pheno #1 cut - which to this day stands firm as one of my very favorite purples. You'll find MOST of Stank Bros workings are developed from community genetics vs big seed house gear. It's much more fun that way - only wish I hadn't ruffled a few feathers along the way. But yes - Grom is great smoke - and Phillthy did an excellent job in his selections to ensure her best qualities were retained.

I'm glad you were able to put a face to the mystery plant in your line up. The Carolina Blue mother of that CB x DB can run a full 11wks - and she is mighty trippy then - no ceiling to her high...I am a bit surprised to hear that one is going that long as well, but hey - the digi is thai influenced big time - so maybe you've found some sorta throw back combo? Either way - if it smokes proper - it smokes proper...hehehe. (hoping she does for ya)
