PCK New Stock VS Old Stock

As the title says what's the difference? It's a shame Charlie Isn't around anymore to answer my questions. I've just gotten my 2 packs of PCK, a lot of super tiny seeds and some regular size. Looking forward to doing a preservation project, hoping all will pop.

why don't you try asking in the vendors forum? it's only a few keyboard strokes away. I'm sure you'll get an answer there.
My guess is that this landrace has a big gene pool, a lot of variable expressions, included calyxes size which may variate from one plant to another and result in a variable seed size.

Yeah I understood that haha, I read somewheres that it's been bred for stock multiple times. When seeing pictures from long ago one can see an array of phenos, including the coveted black and red. But anything from recent times just shows mutants and pink/purple plants. I was wondering if anyone with experience could chime in and let me know.

I know Ace and CBG PCK's are slightly different. Ace's uses different parents from a different generation.

All I can tell ya is that Kaki gave Dubi THE original PCK plants . ACE and CBG where working together for a few years then stopped.. If Dubi changed the original recipe I don't know. you will need to ask him. From what Dubi has told me its the same...I don't buy it from ACE. I get mine from Kaki. You can still buy it from CBG so im a little lost as to why the need to preserve it? CBG has there own website where you can buy there gear.

Thanks Hammerhead. Well in terms of preservation and what you determine as preservation, I guess you could say I'm "safe-keeping" it for future breeding projects. And from any further bottlenecking or inbreeding as there is little info on the breeding program used for PCK. All for personal reasons of course.

As you can tell my packs are from CBG as well!
