PC Case 85w - Bubba Kush & Exodus Cheese
Hi to all of you my friends of Icmag ! I want to share with you my first experience with microgrowing.
The method used isn't a SCRoG at all, 'cause i've just used the net as a " guide " for the plants to keep them small, and not for separate the branches to get multiple heads. For the ventilation i've used just a 110millimeters PC fan for the outtake with passive intake. Lamps are 3 CFLs at 2700°k, 2 of 32w and one of 24w = 87W (85). Ladies vegged a bit too long, 'cause of the slow growth maybe caused by high temps. The Exodus Cheese was done just for fun. A personal challenge just to see if i could do small plants using aluminium pots like soda cans. So it wasn't really treated with the right attention. My bad, cause it could be a real " little big plant " and it tasted so good.. Real nice strain. Next time i'll run it properly PC Case specs, Light: about 85w of CFLs at 2700°k Ventilation: 110mm PC fan for the outtake, some holes on the top of the case and some in the front for the passive intake Pots: small gardening pots, maybe 1,5 litres but i'm not so sure, i don't know how to calculate the capacity Temps and umidity were take with a cheap thermoigrometer, so it wasn't accurate at all Temps: from 22°C to 28°C lights on and from 15°C to 21°C lights off Umidity: from 35% to 60% lights on and from 50% to 80% lights off Ferts: In veg phase i used an organic italian fertiliser with NPK 5-2-3, and for the flowering Hesi Fosfor Plus with PK 7-5 + Black molasses Last week i flushed properly my plants with just water For the pictures, i'll show you the progress with a wideshot picture of the whole case from the start to the harvest. If you want to see the progress of single plants, i'm going to put the link of the album at the end of the thread. Here's the photos: Day #1 Veg, seedlings Day #6 Veg Day #22 Veg, screen on Day #29 Veg Day #40 Veg Continues... |

Day #40 Flo, Bubba Kush 1 main cola detail
Day #58, harvest, maybe a little bit too early, but i've token some samples and the high was strong the right for my taste, so i decided to harvest the right one. I decided to do my smoke report with this exact bud, the most beautiful and resinous one of the whole crop. Link to the album (for those who want to see details of single plants): https://www.icmag.com/ic/album.php?albumid=42410 I'm happy with this run, the taste of the Exodus Cheese is something very nice and unique. A sweet tangerine taste with some notes of skunky cheese at the end. Complex and pleasant. The high was sativ-ish, creative and stimulant but nothing much if comparate to other sativas that i've tried (like C99). In the end, everyone has to try it, it's very particular and sooo good to smoke in the middle of the day. The Bubbas were totally different. A coffee-diesel-agrumate-hash taste, a mix of spicy and fruity at the same time. Very very nice. Some of the best tastes i've tried. The high wasn't high.. After ten minutes from the toke from my bong, i couldn't do anything, i was a vegetable on my bed with the mind on another planet. I can't smoke it in the morning or in the afternoon because it's too strong, it relaxes me and send my mind to a long trip. Narcotic. I'm happy with this run, i'm happy because those are not the first GreenHouse seeds that i bought, and i was really happy also before this run. Totally worth it. Maybe the quantity it's not comparable to the quality, but the quality is grade A for me. Criticism, tips, and grats are accepted. Bye bye my friends i hope you enjoy this thread.Good growing and smoking to all of you ! P.S.: Sorry for my bad english ! |

I think that you make mistake, CFL need to be 1cm-5c from top, closer is better
ofcourse, if you put light for example on 10 cm from top you lost lumens. btw nice looking buds. peace |

Yeah make it so you can adjust the CFLs, or use something to boost the plants up to them. You want them very close, but not touching the plants as they will burn. In veg/stretch they can grow into the lights so you have to stay on top of things. They'll probably get a bit fatter and fill in more down the stem, so you'll yield more
![]() They look good though, lots of trichs. What are you using for your soil?

You did well with very basic stuff! I was wondering where you got the Bubba Kush in seed form.
