Mt Shasta Lily project

I'm working on learning how to propagate these suckers. To those that haven't smelled these yet they are amazing. Native to the Mt. Shasta area, grow all summer long in the woods with virtually no water and not very common. There's a patch on the property I'm currently renting so collected some seeds last year. Didn't get a chance to start some seeds indoors. Seems they sprout naturally outdoors around April 15th or a bit before. Some of my seeds are coming up but better success rate with the seeds I spread around on the ground last Fall. May take a year or two to get this down.

First pic is a transplant. The tap root was MASSIVE. I'd need some very deep pots to start these things.

Most of the plants, about 40 which is over twice the count of last year and think due to my breaking up the seed pods and spreading instead of letting them fall naturally, are 'volunteers'.
