Hey GRS, I was watching a rapper out of Humbolt and I was diggin the beats. I think you know the rap game a little, how is this artist in your opinion? MR.GARTH-CULTI-VADER of the DANK ALUMNI.

Anybody have any recommendations of artists that rap or sing about herb?

He's ok,some of his stuff is alright. Some of it's a bit corny.

I'll share some of my stuff with IC some day.

I see what you mean about some of his work being corny. A couple songs I like and he shows a couple huge green house grows in his music video on you tube. Fun to watch while stoned.

How do you like PotLuck? My brother lived with the guy called One-ton, and they do some amazing work. I just found out that Pot luck is the Dank Alumni, and MR.GARTH-CULTI-VADER is an offshoot of Pot Luck. Sound about right?

These guys used to grow the best Northern Lights. Some of the best herb I ever smoked! Back in 98' ish.

Weed rap was a lot cooler back when weed was illegal and you had to be on the DL with your shit. Nowadays it's like rapping about taking your coumadin or viagra. Nothing gangsta about smoking your medical marijuana.

check out the "high grade all stars" out of mendo, kinda funny but you can tell they are really in the industry...they have some vids on you tube

if you like herb songs you need to find some reggae for the best imo, not rap but nice to burn too even if you dont like reggae
