Music from Big (OLD) Pink (A Tribute)

Music from Big (OLD) Pink!
You know, I was thinking, about all the turmoil and shiznit, all the changes.
All the drama and the broken promises.....
All the grandiose hyperbole that self promotes an empty story......

And then, on reefermans site this.....
Quote:
everything is fine at IC mag as well
as far as were concerned its business as usual
the shop in Amsterdam is open for business, I'm working there and see reeferman almost every day
in fact we had a jam in the shop with his friend on Sat as I had a new guitar and RM was singing bob dylan song's

hey if your about RM drop by the flat for a jam one night get K to bring his accoustic

OP
And the thought of Old Pink, standing strong against the tide, the ONLY figure NOT intimidated, not taking a break, but instead 1 moment defiantly demanding his PRIVATE time and space and alternately playing guitar with Reeferman supplying the vocals.....

Picking up the slack and trying to help those who made non-refundable plans have a good time 4/20!

In other words, just being OP...........

As The Truth Squad on OG I traded some Emails with OP when he was a judge at the HTCC. Scheduling kept me from meeting him when he was available BUT..........

The Highlight of "MY" april A'dam visit will be smoking some ECSD or maybe some Willie Nelson (Does Barneys still have some?) with OP and heading with the Rag Tag group of Die Hards to NOLs! To me, the BEST HTCC was the one that almost broke 420Tours..... 2001 when a small band of insaniacs braved the USA in Nov 2001 and boarded planes to A'dam..... In NYC, 2 weeks before I took off a plane crashed leaving JFK and there were credible people saying it was shot down by a missle!!

Now.... Im not EVEN trying to compare OG/CW as the twin towers BUT the devastation to the "community" was well... devastating

So...... I look forward to meeting him in person and repeating what I am typing here right now!

THANK YOU OP!

It's enough for UB to post a link to this thread over at the trashcan and the rats start flowing, how sad. Rat go back to where you belong - sewage.

Pretty meager for UB to be stuck in a place of no return. But keep trying, maybe some day you'll free yourself from a kiddie playground.

Heyyy Intrinsic, nice to see you!

I haven't been told anything, been watching all the time. (for the drama in an otherways boring world.)

Well maybe I was a bit harsh, some fine folk there, albeit heavily delusional at times.

But for the freedom of speech, I'm east european, so I damn well know just what freedom of speech is. Why do I post here instead of your freedom of speech site....

I'll gladly accept your freedom of speech, while I get at my herb growing. This is a marijuana cultivation forum...

LOL all this fuss over a jam
I'd got myself a new Ibanez guitar to start playing again
its years since I acctually practiced rather than just jammed (badly)
sort of an escape from all the recent drama and hard times and something to fucus on
I didn't realise it would cause this much fuss

I wish I could upload a pic of the guitar, Its a red Ibanez GRX (yeah I know its a cheap one)
but its good enough for me to get back into playing and the action is pretty good
my son already loves it and he has a good Ibanez here with him so we have 2
1 red (mine) and one Blue (my son's) but only one amp so its a fight to see who plays
but as he's way better than me he normally wins

anyway heres a pic of the guitar I got from the website only mine is candy apple red

but this one caught my eye as well
its an 11 string accoustic fretless guitar, something I'd never seen before
but It has my attention and I plan and going to try it out soon

Umm, that fretless looks very, very, interesting, would really like to try that one... making music is a lot of fun, have done so for a long time and plan to keep on doing it how about a psychedelic E-blues jam at the shop?
