Yes DJ,
The Chem is a powerful plant..Loads of resin,sticky and dank as hell..I like the odor/flavor of the ECSD and OGK(Fire or SFV) a little more but the Chem has the potency to hang with most and is a really good breeder if using it on the female side of the hybrid..I do not like using a Chem IBL crossed to an OGK or Diesel but like it used the other way using an BX or IBLfrom the OGK or Diesel lines to the ChemD cut..Much more consistent,resinous,heavy odor and looks like the parent plants mixed in harmony..a lot of folks do not realize there is a huge difference depending on what is used on the female side..
The female donates 60%+ of traits to the hybrid in my experience..The male has to be one strong SOB to be noticeable visually other than minor changes in odor/flavor,potency and structure,including vigor..Flowering Time of course if usung a sativa..

The plants Im running from seed are now in flower and showing resins well..
(except the Haze)
The Hashplants and Purple Kushes are incredible plants and Im happy I ran these as I will have more breeding material for the hard work put in..There is also a diesel line,another Kush,Hashplant X Chem,Strawberry Bubba,Neville's Haze,and others..a lot of seed plants..
Also getting my Harem back in order with most ladies present along with a few new ones..
Thank you to all of you that have helped me get back online..Im really starting to see progress.
I will be pollinating the first plants of the year very soon.

The purp Kush and hashplant will certainly be worked in to several trial crosses..Heavy resin on very small young buds..They are pouring it on for their small nuggets..
The N.Hazes are looking killer...

I keep up with all active threads here..
Pretty plants but little you can tell from them early inm veg..What I would be looking for is odor..If they stink early on then they will more than likely be potent plants..It shows early terpenes developing within the plants tissue..,
Odor is always a good indicator.............CC

Hi CC, would you say the same with haze males? The reason I ask is in my experience of using haze males the progency tend to appear haze dominant regardless of the mother.

in a hybrid with a strong sativa such as haze yes,much will show through..First reason is the sativa leaf being dominant and the indica resessive..

Pure sativas often show aggressive traits over their indica counterparts..But as a general rule the male of the hybrid just does not show as much as the female..
In your situation you are using a sativa as the male side which is usually the opposite of what is done..The sativa is usually the female and the indica is used as the male..This is certainly not set in stone but has proven to be a more desireable hybrid than the opposite..
Have you tried using the Haze as the female and the indica as the male..Maybe if time allows try growing out a hybrid in both directions and see which offers up the most desirable plants grown from these seeds..


I have been swamped trying to harvest plants,make selections and generally get this thing moving foreward...

Thanks for answering my query CC, I have read DJ Short saying similar things about sativa males being less desirable in hybrids.

I shall experiment myself and see.
