These events bring a great comradery amongst growers and friends and at the same time, tells us other growers which strains to check out. Thanx for all your hard work everyone.
H2 x Jaggen beat out PineHaze in every category according to the #'s it would seem.
So H2 x Jaggen didnt place because it was missing 5 voters or something?
How does that work?

missing votes has no effect as the system works out the average vote a sample has gotten and thats how the winner is decided. if you do it by the points, it would put those with less votes at a disadvantage. so it was worked out on averages.

Thank You. Still dont understand the #'s I guess, but I dont need too, Its not even my business. I was just curious why a loosing strain can have a higher score in every category than the winner is all.

not sure what you are looking at but Jaggen x H2 was the last place in it's category, it has the lowest scores.

Right here.
Totals - H2 x Jaggen = 1091
Totals - Pinehaze = 1002
Shouldnt of BubbleCrazy's Amnesis Hypro have won by an overall total of 1116.
I get it now..... The PineHaze scored higher on each individual judges sheet but there was 5 less voters than H2 x Jaggen.
GOT YA! Thank You for clearing that up. I did the math with a calculator and understand now. That was my Q about the voter #'s.
That it was the # of ballots submitted, devided by total score. Thank you Gaiusmarius.
That PineHaze must have been soooo good. Did it really taste like Pine and Haze? I miss that pine taste.
One of my top 3 flavors in MMJ. I googled Haze Ventura/PineHaze but came up empty. Are these genetics gonna be available on the Bay?

those are the points, you need to look at the average score. they didnt all get the same amount of votes.

you can see everything there, you can even click on a strain and see all the votes it got, or look at individual scores if you click on the judge name.
