Medicine Man from MrNice Seed company has been one of the most delightful seed grows I have expierenced in many many years.

I fell in love with the Original White Rhino in Amsterdam in November of 1996. I can still remember the fella behind the counter (who I believe was shanti) tellin me not to smoke the stuff until later in the day. I chuckled and proceeded to roll up a big fat spliff to enjoy with my 9:00am coffee....Well next thing I know I'm stumbling around Dam square with permagrin and frost goggles chinky eyed lookin for my hotel and a quick nap....the stuff was by far the strongest Indica dominant strain I puffed until HP#1....

Then in 1997 I returned to the Dam bought 5 packs of WhiteRhino from Greenhouse and got my NY krew busy finding the WR of 96....Unfortunately the landlord who rented the house that the WR project was rippin in found out about it and ordered it shutdown....

And since that debacle I havent seen one good representation of the WR.....I had planned a MedMan grow a couple yrs back and then Shanti got locked up and the beans were gone....So when a friend asked what he could order me from MrNice seed company I jumped at the chance to bust some MedicineMan...I should say Im not the biggest fan of widow....Ive seen good WW but Ive seen lots more bad representations than good....the Afghani in the Rhino/Medman give the Widow the punch that I prefer......

I asked Shanti what were the differences in the Rhino of old and the Medicineman , but he has yet get back to me, but Im sure he will....

Its been described as a "Sibling" to the Rhino I wondered exactly what that ment...Ive read MedMan is an Afghani mom with a Widow Male, I thought the old Rhino was the Widow mom with an Afghani dad....maybe Shanti could clear some of this up.....

Either way I loved this grow......even though I got kinda crappy germenation rates 14/22 with 2 other strains having 100% germ right beside the Medicine Man........the plants were easy to grow and got quite large and smelly.....There are deffinitly two phenotypes , Afghani and Widow....Either of which looks Real nice if you get a proper frost monster....I ended up with 5 excellent plants one of which is a beautiful Male lookin real Gani'ish and BIG....the four "keeper" females break down into 2 Widow dom and 2 Afghani Dom with one excellent reprensentation of each....there were a couple of runts but even they lookied nice...

My Widow dominant MedicineMan is so SOUR and tangy fruity smellin.....its a mix of grapefruit, Melons, and green apples.....makes me old mouth water....I did not expect such a sour fruityness....Big fat tops (total of 4) that will end up weighing about 14-20 g each.....plus another 2 zipps of rock hard bottom nuggets....nice yeild....

My Afghani dominant MedicineMan is what I remember White Rhino to smell like and look like.....BIG fat buds everywhere...I left this one untopped and it has a 40oz OldE on top.....lol.....The density of the bud on top is scary....It started bending the plant over right at harvest....this gal has a wonderful green apple and wildflower smell with a heavy skunky musk as well.....stinky....

It would be nice to know how good it is. I have ordered 3 consecutive orders from Dr. Chronic and to this point, recieved no beans. Yes, Ive contacted them to no avail. I've spent $350 trying to get a pack of MM and still dont have one. I believe I'm finished with Dr., Chronic, every pack I order from SB comes right on time- they just don't ever have any stock. I was hoping to make an outdoor grow with MM this year but it's not to be I guess. Maybe one day. If this helps, MM is kick ass. I've smoked it and seen it growing, in fact, thats why I want to grow it. You won't be dissapointed.

Top notch smoke from both phenotypes.....

The Widow pheno has a much more pronounced flavor its a tart green apple and starfruit/ citrus thing overlayed with pine......the high is a mental numbing body relaxation combo that doesnt really tire me out....reminds me of Black DOm high with a better flavor....

the Afghani pheno is what I remember White Rhino smoking like....Tart Fruit and flower flavor with a hint of the apple but real thick and rich flavored kinda hashy....the stone hits instantly before exhaling...you feel yer head and lips and eyelids get heavy and droopy...witin an hour yer begging for a nap.....ahhhh, Medicine....the buds of this phenotype are beautiful

for now I'll keep the keeper female from each phenotype....the Afghani is a much slower grower and a lil finiky about water levels....the Widow pheno Rips and should prove to be an excellent producer....they have a similar baseline taste but the growth and highs are quite different so they will be tested a bit further....

I have a bunch of Albert Walker x Medicine Man (male) that I'm gonna grow so keep an eye out for that in the near future.....the Walker is probbably the best clone only strain around IMO, it has 10x the flavor of the OG's and a super giddy stony high that just thumps ya.....the Medicine MAn should crank up the yeild while the Walker will add mucho flavor while keeping the high of both intact.....Walker x Fuma con Diablos is also right beside em for a comparison....

I'm on day 69 12/12 of the Med Man. Still plenty of clear triches in many of them, so I'm not about to harvest yet.
