would be strange if one bag was different as the triangle kush was prepacked and all we did was add numbers to the prepacked bags supplied. so it's very unlikely that only one of those sample was not what it should be. if my pic and ops pic and Strands pic are how the trianglekush should look then jah hoovers has to be the same bud, maybe just from lower down in the canopy or sumit.

unless 1 of the prepacked samples was something else, but thats very unlikely....

why can't all judges pack there own that way there is no issue
I know quite a few did this year
and to make it fairer why can all entrants get an entry pack consisting of good sized and uniform baggies
that will be sent to anyone entering, I know only too well the hassle of bagging up hundreds of entry's, its a nightmare

That is an excellent idea, having the entrants bag their stuff in uniform sized bags, before entering the sample.

In 2004 when we did the cup we had 40+ entries which had to be weighed and bagged up into the 60+ judges packs. The process took a couple of days, and we did not allow entrants to assist.

yes this year we got a good 2 thirds of the entries pre bagged, this was a great help and without it we would have needed an extra day of packing. the trouble is no matter how much you tell people to pre pack, when they show up with the entry not pre bagged, you still have to accept it as there would be a lot less entries if you didnt.

i do agree that anyone entering the cup in future should not be involved in the preparations. the hard part will be finding volunteers to fly out and help out and then not even be allowed to judge or enter. we will just have to see how it goes, but you have to remember that everyone volunteered their time. but i'm all for not letting entrants help with the packs anymore, we will just have to ask for non entering people to volunteer. but the other thing to consider is that not everyone is made for this type of work, you need a certain ability to be careful and not get shit mixed up no matter what. most peeps start smoking and then get muddled. but thats for next year, i'm sure we will work it out.
