Exclamation GrindHouses' Germination Guarantee

Been a bit since being online, unfortunately coping with severe back and leg pain, awaiting surgery; spinal fusion. I don't check the forums too much since my injury but check in from time to time.....

Going into the help desk, I see a bunch of folks having germ issues. I myself hate burying seed stock, as it's too easy to suffocate the seeds, etc.

The only way I can guarantee my stock to germ is via the way I germinate them.

(The DMT stock can benefit from a good scuffing.)

1. Soak in water for at least 24 hrs, checking several hrs in and tapping them down, sinking the seed(s). Looking for the seed to split, proceed to step 2.

2. Place in paper towels with ample water on a shallow dish and in the dark; making sure, towels don't dry out.

3. Plant germinated seed once FULLY out of shell.

I will replace any order with verified sale, documented here on IC as best as I can.

Peace be with you all,
Steele

Thanks man, appreciate that Breeders are listening...
I'll be popping a bunch of beans at once, yours are the ones I'm most excited about.

Nice guarantee Steele, can't be any excuse now with a step by step.
You really wait till the embryo is totally out of the shell?

No germination issues here.
I started three each of the SFV and Diablo beans a few days ago and got 100%.
Started one more of each two days ago and both those popped too.
I start them in a small bowl of water covered with plastic wrap and kept warm on top of the cable tv box.
When I see tails I put them in peat plugs.
So far, the SFV seedlings are definitely showing more "leg" than the Diablo seedlings. Twice as tall .

I hope you'll recover, or at least, do the best you can.
No germination issues here either, MB was very vigorous sprouting.

I just sow in pre-watered soil/medium plant the seed about the same length of said seed, always keeping soil humid, I guess yours is more foolproof, though I dislike the idea of soaking the seeds on top of a paper towel, which is mostly chlorinated or some to very industrial chemically laden. And when you have to plant the prout, tiny hairs can be damaged, amking it more likely to look like a mutant. But that may just be a fear :-) seems many are using it with np

Only got 3/11 of my Pre11 Prophets up after a 24hr soak and being planted into coco jiffy pucks. I avoid the moist paper towels as I've had nothing but issues with them in the past.

I'll leave them in the pucks for a few more days and see how thing go. I've had 100% with this method in the past, so in thinking the age of the beans has something to do with it.

I've had seeds take up to 5 days to germinate in a glass of water, with temps in the high 70's. Scuffing seeds with fine sand paper might speed things up.
