There's a big party happening in Denver, Colorado today, 4/20!

They're expecting the crowd in the park next to the state Capitol to swell to 80,000 by 4:20pm.

Today is the first 420 event since Colorado legalized recreational use of marijuana.

So far there are few police around, despite the recent bombing in Boston.

High Times Magazine hosted it's first open to the public Cannabis Cup in Denver, selling out 5,000 tickets.
They awarded Snoop Lion, formerly Snoop Dogg, a "Lifetime Achievement Award",

Hip-hop group Cypress Hill will play a sold-out concert today.

Me at the Denver Cup, avoided the Civic Center because we figured 16k at the same venue that hosted 4k last year would be close enough to a riot for us.

I hear there was a shooting there today. guy shot in the leg and his dog. no one ded. reading fox news.

that was yesterday Snook at the 420 rally at Civic Center Park...they cancelled day 2 of the rally

the dog was surprisingly calm through the whole ordeal... the dog and a lady and her boyfriend all got shot in the leg and are going to be OK

looks like the shooting was gang related ~ kids these days need to play more ping pong and tennis, IMO
