Ive grown sensis NL#5 X Haze,,,DPs Haze/Skunk,,Neville Haze several grows not to mention all the clones that I have grown from others..Ive also grown and smoked thais,south Africans along with a plethoria of other sativas..
The thing is you sometimes run into standouts that do not resemble the standard plants from these seed lines and it could be from any of these and not be following the normal pattern..
im figuring that this is the case with the Black Haze and will ask around to see if I can find its true lineage..

Who knows the flowering window for this plant.for standard ripening,not an over ripening time frame but just for 75 to 90% withered pistils..

lol you'll see after you flower em out etc. They aren't related. Make S1's n flower those out as well. Even those who grew bag seed from the best haze in NY never came across anything like the haze Shanti or Nevil worked with. To my knowledge anyway.

Just seem like the 2 would go together well for a really sweet hybrid..High resin content high yield..
still undecided but sounds like a good one to give a go..

More info on the Black Haze

After chatting with JJ-NYC I think we are talking about an NL#5 X Haze..
He said it leans heavily towards Thai genetics..He also said the flavor is a little rough for him..I do not think he did any trial crosses to see if it throws out the mojo to the hybrid as usually the offspring are stronger than both parents,especially when dealing with an F1 hybrid..I will do a trial cross and give the first round of seed away to you sativa lovers to try out..
If the hybrid proves fruitful it will remain in the catalog..If not it will go the way of the doe=doe bird...I think a hybrid to Nevilles Haze would create an incredibly nice hybrid with a touch more Northern Lights than a straight Neville's Haze..NH is around 25% NL and the NL5 X Haze is either 25 or 50% NL...Should be a very frosty sativa resulting from the 2 hooking up............................ ........CC

For me the really special one of a kind sativas are to be found in the F2 of Neville's Haze..The SE Asian plants show up at a rate of 2 or 3 per 40 seeds...quite easy to find if you are willing to grow a handful of throwaways....And I am because I know how incredible the keepers are...
