The Black is definitely an old school haze, what its exact pedigree is I'll leave for the experts to say cause it probably has some indica in it. Pure sativa ?no but its definitely a quintessential haze.

Been told its an old Colombian. I believe its related to the haze here in NYC. They could both be the same Colombian crossed to different indicas. If I had to guess, I'd say northern lights went into the black and a pure afghan into the haze sold in NY

JJ said there's too much thai influence in the black to make it the piff/puday. i'm a new yorker and remember my puday experiences quite well. the real church/piff/puday/uptown looks like a pure sativa i doubt it has much indica influence at all even though it carries an "all over" stone like a malawi would.

the black haze has been called everything from puday to real santa cruz haze to lumbo x nl5haze.... who the fuck knows and who cares at this point. i just want to smoke em!!!!!!

I don't believe there's any "thai" in either of em. Nor are they "haze" hybrids. Its just a name to make it sell

You state "if you had to guess" so the fact is you do not have any idea what the make up is and are just guessing..So if you are just guessing the fact is you do not know..

Ive grown sensis NL#5 X Haze,,,DPs Haze/Skunk,,Neville Haze several grows not to mention all the clones that I have grown from others..Ive also grown and smoked thais,south Africans along with a plethoria of other sativas..
The thing is you sometimes run into standouts that do not resemble the standard plants from these seed lines and it could be from any of these and not be following the normal pattern..
im figuring that this is the case with the Black Haze and will ask around to see if I can find its true lineage..

Who knows the flowering window for this plant.for standard ripening,not an over ripening time frame but just for 75 to 90% withered pistils..

Funny you mention that Grapefruit as the cut just showed up..Sweet Pink Grapefruit,some other Dank cuts and also some of that Sam the Skunkman gear as well..Pure Skunk in there..
Durban x Skunk in there..and the kicker,, some of those Kryptonite Seeds F3 OGK in there to help with my search for that elusive stud!!I wish I had 200 to look through but will have to make due with the donations I have been lucky enough to get..Freakin' cool members here!!
