Welcome to the show! I have redesigned/upgraded my 5x5x8 closet into a green mean machine! Growing from Seeds until I get clones. Lets go over whats being used ![]() Equipment:
Medium/Nutrients:
Strains: Sowed:
This thread is dedicated to pheno hunting! My mission is to have one tray growing two stable strains in a mono crop setting for uniformity and continuity throughout the tray. My other tray will be the test bed for pheno's I want, crosses I make, and for random plant testing or to provide home to the homeless girls out there. I currently have a few people interested in supplying genetics. Need quality cuts. I need many upgrades and changes, but like all threads this will evolve over time. Welcome to my adventure. All love is welcome, all negativity is welcome, my thread is your thread, lets have fun people! ![]() ![]() ![]() "Once the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace." - Hendrix ![]() -Lyryc

Are you growing 29 seeds in the 5x5?
I was gonna suggest you get a T5 for veg, but I dont know how long you could keep 29 plants under them. You can keep your plants 2-4" away from them as long as youre using a passive intake and its not 80 outside. 77 and you might wanna back them up a little. They really cut down on stretch. As soon as I put plants under an HID they get huge really quickly |

Hey buddy, nice to see you round these parts! Got a thread of your own I can follow?
I'm actually germinating under the MH right now at 50%. 1 foot away from the seedlings. When I upgrade to perpetual status, i'll have a t5 tent ![]() I'll be running lights at night, so for the time being no A/C needed. Lights off for another 7 hours. Currently on a 16/8.

I just finished mixing my coco, growstones and my Benneficials.
I made a light mix to charge the coco with: AN Sensi A+B Microblife Photo Plus AN B-52 AN F-1 and a splash of Amino Treatment. I only have 12 pots ready for the cush seedlings. All need to be repotted and fed, they are going to be starving soon. The OG Kush seeds are very slow to germinate but I see tap roots. I don't know if the randoms will pop, but the night terrors should all be up in a day or two, the blackwater OG is taking off compared to everything else except the Night Terror, sowed at the same time. Need more coco later. Real life beckons.

Have you used growstones with coco before? Id be careful with that stuff. Sounds like it could wreck the coco ph and ec balance. I think they hold a lot more water than perlite or hydroton. Maybe a side by side or a few testers would be cool?

Pioneering here. I used Coco w/ growstones and hydroton. THose 3 pots had epic root systems, much better than the rockwool.
I use Ph Perfect, remember no need to worry about the pH but the EC will be closely monitored. Really not worried about it and feel rather confident in the combination. The Blackwater OG in the Root Riot sprouted, looking sexyyyy 2 of the Night Terrors popped up. They are very very light green, compared to the other seedlings, I'm not sure if they are supposed to be and if not, if they need help.

two night terrors up!
One just skyrocketed outa no where! bummed how yellow green they look tho. I think im doing a typical newbie thing of tripping that their so light in color. Idk its been a hot minute since I popped beans. But all the cush are looking SEXY, and I germinated those sluts ghetto style via wet papertowel between plates on my warm receiver. So I'm hoping all these seeds germ proper as they are given a better advantage maybe? I actually read not to germinate in plugs but I think thats a load of bullshit. We see, the directly sowed into the coco/perilite seeds are slow to start. I think my OG Kush seeds need rough'n up before germination. We'll see how the others do, fingers crossed on the trainwreck ![]() Finally Pictures! First up, the Night Terror OG's. Then theres the Blackwater OG with the seed still clamping the cotyledons together. The cush is moving along. Tmrw is a very big day for the cush seedlings. I'm taking them and removing all school dirt, which is actually really good and I'll save it to propagate with later. Then I'm dipping them into Jellyfish and transplanting into my charged coco pots. Thats their new home until they wanna quick fucking around and get to business(Sex) ![]() Thats all for today folks, keep it green

![]() So today I took the 12 CushxOGKush seedlings and transplanted into 60%coco 40% Growstones charged with bennies and nutes. After I took the seedlings out of the soil I put them in Plant Success Jellyfish root dip or w/e. had a free sample from the garden expo. Out of every single transplant I have done, I have hundreds under my belt between school and the nursery, this has been the only one that you can't even tell I transplanted. Every seedling has actually continued growth as normal and has not been stunted from the xplant. I never used Jellyfish before or any root dips, but hawt dayum! ![]() Everyone is standing too attention from being lopped over, typical with trans plants but the turn around is surprising. Any other experiences with Jellyfish? Pic Guide pic 1 is of the old containers. pic 2 is right after transplant pic 3 is 8 hours after transplant pic 4 is the blackwater OG in the root riot that sprouted pic 5 is the blackwater og sowed into coco/perilite with watah pic 6 is of the night terror ogs both now greener and one is taking off. 7 is my OG Kush Seeds popping, those seeds need scraping before sowing this picture is from yesterday pic 8 OG Kush today Pic 9 is that blackwater girl, and I love the way the seeds dont completely come off, really neat part of nature ![]() Pic 10 is one of the Cush/OGKush seedlings Super happy. Once I have all these seeds in place, the CH9 girls will get their chances. Need to make tables for those trays toooooooooooo

Up and running! Good to see bro.
Looks like youre ready - now if only the plants would grow faster, eh?Those plug trays rock. I like the the elbow room for the sprouts to spread out. Subbin'.

I'm stealing your milk crate idea for stacking and place plants on, and using them to make makeshift tray stands. Fuck building shit, I'm stealing, if asking doesn't procure any, some milk crates from the grocery store, sterilizing them and done!
