CS made simple
I have decided to post my process to make Colloidal Silver for anyone wanting to know exactly how I make my cs. It is a very simply process and when done correctly can help you make more feminized seeds then one person should ever need.
Step 1. Gather all the things you need. alligator clips, 9v battery connector, 9v battery, distilled water, mason jar, 1ft 12guage .999 pure silver wire, cardboard, duct tape, and multi-tool. ![]() Step 2. Cut a hole in the cardboard to fit evenly on the mouth of the jar and connect the alligator clips to the 9v battery connector. [Step 3. Cut two holes in the cardboard and put one clip through each hole. cut the silver wire in half then bend each piece in half and connect each wire to a clip ![]() Step 4. Fill the jar with water and put the cardboard lid on top of the jar with the silver wires in the water but not touching the side of the jar or eachother. ![]() Step 5. Make sure the alligator clips are not in the water but most of the silver is. I should have bent the not connected side down more so it was in the water.

Step 6. connect the battery and place in the dark. I just put a cardboard box over it.
![]() After 12 - 14 hours your product will look like this. Notice the wires turning black and the goo at the bottom of the jar? THIS IS WHEN TO STOP! if you have a laser pointer shine it through the water and you should see a thick beam. ![]() ![]()

If you let it go too long (24 - 36 hours) it will look like this. notice the wires are more covered in the black and silver goo.
![]() ![]() ![]() I have used yellow CS with good results several times but CLEAR IS BEST. "It was once considered that pale yellow was the ideal color for colloidal silver. This was a reasonable statement, but it was also largely a matter of convenience for users of basic generators, as the color change from clear to pale yellow provided a visual indication that it was time to stop. (The color change indicated the electrolytic process had begun to accelerate and create larger, undesirable particles). Today however, current controlled, generators with a stirring system like the Silver Well are designed to only produce small particles and isolated ions, so the CS usually remains perfectly clear even when relatively high PPM colloidal silver is produced. So the short answer is: Yellow is OK, but clear is best." If anyone has any questions about making or using CS please post them here and I will get back to you asap. |

Is it better to make your own or can a pre made product be used? I have seen CS Spray for sale as a scent masking spray for hunters. If it is safe to spray on a human would it not be safe for a plant? I am not certain if there are other ingredients in the hunter CS. The spray was quite affordable, but if it is not gonna work I will do this. Your thoughts Evol?

Store bought spray can work but only if is just colloidal silver and not anything else it also has to be the right ppm. I believe it is the 60 ppm that's good for store bought CS but don't quote me on that.
I prefer making my own. A one time investment of $50 can make several batches of Cs and you know exactly what is in it. the most expensive thing to buy is the silver wire and that's only about $30. so its up to you spend 30 to 60 dollars each time you want to spray or $50 one time and be able to make CS whenever you want |

thanks blynx. that is a very good and informative thread. I just made this one to simplify it. I have only been making and using cs for a little over a year now but have never failed at reversing and often see posts where others do fail. so hopefully if those people find my thread and follow along they can succeed at reversing plants.

any tech geeks here that could guesstimate the current draw from a 9V cell?
using ohms law one would find the current by dividing the voltage (9) by the resistance (0) of the silver wire. Which would be 0. side note: impedance is minimal to nil when talking about a foot of wires (including the clip leads) so, resistance, in essence. is 0. I was wondering what kind of current draw is needed. I'm thinking, with a supervised power supply, this process could be expedited. Got a fluke meter? Any thoughts? -cap |

Does anyone know the best PPM for a good CS solution? My water was 5ppm to start with.
