i have been gifted a 1980 road kill skunk clone.

also known as purple northern lights or as nl#2.

here is the story i was told.

"It came to pei in early 80's from a guy from Montreal connected with the mafia, he came here to introduce growing and have workers to grow it.
From what I understand he had to many people involved and created a lot of heat for Montreal and here, some people here where caught and the mafia guy was suppose to come back here and clean up the mess , instead he was shot in the head in Montreal instead by his own because the heat was in Montreal over it as we'll. the strain never left pei since. Prob a handful of people still have it here. I have never seen a strain smell like it before. Very unique, smells the same the whole time growing, pungent , make your eyes sting, very greasy,turns purple in 6 7th finish at 9 . It's stretchy like your hb woody stock. Finish cure can show a beachish smell I think , but a fresh skunk with it, I had a buddy say jean guy smelled similar but I never seen or know if it was even jean g . Very potent, most of the time it beats any dro here. It's always been used for outside here. Trips first week of aug depending on the moon pretty much doubles in the first 2weeks starts showin flower in 7-10 once it starts to turn purple outside sept20th you have a week or it will turn fast. It is always cut early and gives 6to8 per @ 2 weeks early. And sometimes it can be a real dump and other times unreal. "

it spent a month in the infirmary being debuggeed and nursed back to health.

i dont know what is more exciting. how she will turn out, or her genetic make up.

everything was real skunk back in this era. i good friend with a shop has been growing for like 40 years. in the game longer. he was connected and verifies the "nl#2" was a true skunk. road kill. loved water culture too. which all rks cuts were.

anyone else have anymore input join in please,

she is a bit water logged atm, but her stalk is a reeker. very real skunk on the rub.
looks like a viney kush plant so far at 6 inches,

the store owner i refered to is also italian. and said the mafia and the bikers kept this clone in commercial production for the demand. what was the craze starting back then? skunk weed,

Well nothing wrong with going about it the long way, not many want to put in that kind of effort these days.

Are your skunk lines true skunk or are they commonly available sweet skunks?
