Lets talk about the Rez beans that are still available
My understanding is that no new reservoir seeds are being produced.
I have to say, the last pack I bought was unspectacular in terms of both germination and stability. That said, does anyone recommend any of the genetics currently for sale by REZ on the bay? I'd love a nice chem in my garden. |

They're all pretty old by now, Rez left in 2011 and most of those were released before he vanished.
The Chemdog Sour Diesels are really old, I think they are from 2010ish, I got crap germination from the pack I bought and that was at least 2 years ago. The Chemdog V1.1's are some of the fresher seeds, the Chemdog IBL's came out before the 1.1's. The Chemdog IBL has quite a few pheno's, the V1.1 is an improved version of the Chemdog IBL. I have not seen 1 single grow or report of the V1.1. |

i bought a pack of those chemdog x sour d's that were up there. (they arrived here like 3 weeks ago)
just germinated them and got 10/10 w/ roots within 24-36 hours in a paper towel. Ran this cross before and it was a fav of mine. That's the only one of what's up on the bay that i've run in the past.. but as far as germination rates i had no problems at all. |

Oh the Rez. To be honest, he had some good strains to work, but I never thought him much of a breeder.
Anyway, I'm running the ChemD IBL right now, and I got pretty good germination rates. I was disappointed in the 3 girls I did get up until this week, when they WENT OFF. I picked a couple balls off of each plant during the first 2.5 weeks, but now at week 5.5 haven't seen a single sign of male parts. Two of the phenos are absolutely stellar, UBER potent, strong smell, good looking bud structure.

I think the worst strain he ever made was the Snowdog Bx1 , I ate major shit on that crop but the Snowdog x Sour D IBL was awesome . I have the original release of Chemdog double D and grew a few out and gave them away but I'm glad to still have some and even though they are prone to throw a few nanners I've seen some beautiful grows of her so I'll run them soon . I gave away a monster D 39 mother I had no time for but think something nice might be hiding in them.

i thought the chem x sour d sucked major. all the phenos were the same, big yeilding inferior smoke that tasted like sour lettuce. i fuckin love my sour d ibl though, and currently growing out some seed that were fathered by a chem x sour that hermed next to it.

nov 2011 i picked up paks, KQK, chemdog BX 2 and another chemgog 4D maybe.
both the chems had crap germ, and the 2-3 that did make it were runted and stunted and had to toss em. i only got 2 of the KQK up and running. both FM and were stellar producers with top shelf taste and potency. its still in my garden today. looks like its either complete big hit or crap with his gear. but $$ made from KQK has paid many times my investment with that order. i see new rez listings for for chem 4D, whats the word on that?

seeds from 2010 are not old, Killer Chem, SFV Chem, SSCDH, CHD, SQV, CDD II and even some Wonder Haze that were popped have had great germ results recently and these are all from around that time if not earlier.....any pale seeds you got ain't gonna make it, as was the case with my SD's from 2010, most of the pack very immature when i received it,but all in all i have had no germ issues with any of his stock i have acquired along the way....give them a go if you feel it or don't, those are your 2 options.
