Plans are to hunt down a keeper, make F2s as well as cross to GSC (Forum) S1.

I had a Pak about a month ago one mutant that didn't grow an 2 that appear normal rest didn't even try to crack. I've read a lot about there pour germ rates.

That's too bad about the germ % . I have had germ issues and propagation problems before then I got a couple magical tips and spent the $$ on the equipment necessary to pop seeds. I figured if I'm going to spend thousands of dollars on seeds than why not drop anotherq100$ to insure better % on germination so here's what I learned and I'll pass it on. First is to know what seeds need to germ properly, they need moisture warmth, but not too hot, oxygen and darkness. So to start I bought a heat mat and a thermostat and I put them in standard clone trays. 1st step is I freeze my seeds, it may sound crazy but the natural process of a seed is to fall of it's hist in the fall season and stay on the ground over the winter where it freezes and goes dormant then the spring comes and thaws the snow creating moisture around the seed, as it warms up in the spring it germinates. So my goal is to mimic the seeds natural life cycle so I freeze them as doin as I get them for storage too. 2nd step is to thaw them out, here I take them out of the freezer still in original package and I leave them in the packs and wrap them in a dish towel and put them in the cupboard above my fridge for 24hrs. ( anywhere dark n 72-75 f will work ) After 24hrs I put them in glasses of water for 18 - 24 hrs, no more than that as you don't want them to drown. Now here's the trick for the water cups, your best bet is reverse osmosis water it's 2$ for 4l at any walmart and peroxide for oxygen. Add a few drops maybe half a cap in the 4l of r.o. water then put that water in your cups and add the seeds. Place the cups in your clone tray and cover it so it stays dark and set the thermostat at 75 degrees f.After 6 hrs or so take some tweezers and tap the top of the seeds in the cup and they should sink to the bottom. This is good it means the seed is viable and taking on water. You will see after a fee hrs the bubbles if oxygen sticking to the seeds from the peroxide. 3rd step, after 18 - 24 hrs in the cups take the seeds out and put them in damp paper towels. I dunk the paper towel in the water that the seeds were in the cups, wring it out so it's damp but not dripping, I use little 4inch square zip loc containers with 4 layers of paper towels on the bottom n 4 on top of the seeds. Place all your seeds in the zip locs and put em back in your tray at the sane temperature. I try n forget about them for 2 days after that and when I pop the tops usually the majority have grown so much they pop the seed in the zip loc container which also makes them easier to plant if your real careful. The ones that havnt popped the seed I plant. Put the seed in your mediums so you can just see the top point of the seed don't cover it. Put any UN popped seeds back in your tray at thecsame temps in the dark still till they pop that seed and have raised up out of the medium. They don't need light till they pop. No nutrients either. Good genetics don't need food or hormone to root just water and oxygen. I know this is dragged out and long but I havnt had any propagation issues since I started using this method. I hope this helps anybody who has issues popping seeds. Good luck n happy growing

CV that's some killer looking plants you got there. I live in Canada and had to special order the cookie wreck and flaming cookies from my seed lady in Toronto. I have so contractors coming in 2 weeks to work on my house then I plan to work both those packs. It's been so hard sitting on these babies since March. I'm just wondering how much difference is in the flower times between the two, I'm assuming the cookie wreck takes a bit longer than the flaming cookies. Also if maybe I can find a way to order directly from CV as I've been checking your catalog and I want a couple others on your list as well that I'm told she can't get. She being my Toronto seed lady. Anyways I hope to hear back from you guys and when I do my CV I'll put up a full post and report for the community to check out. Last thing, what's the difference between the cookie wreck and you gsc clone x train wreck? If there's much difference at all, even so it doesn't matter. Can I still get the clone x train wreck because shecsaid she can't find it. Hit me back plz I'd love to run them all side by side

Recently bought a pack from NGR and what I received I'm highly disappointed in. 2 of 6 germ with 4 being white underdeveloped beans :/ well see how these 2 turn out before I consider anymore cannaventure seeds
