What is Serious Seeds opinion on defoliating?
Hi Serious Seeds and Serious Growers...
I've been reading about defoliating plants on ICMAG threads and it seems that a lot of growers see it as very beneficial to get bigger yields. The advice is to defoliate leafs that shade bud sites in veg and again in bloom once the stretch is over. The defoliating that I've seen is sometimes quite severe in the veg stage....almost stripping plants down to having only the leaves that connect with budsites. All fan leaves are removed! I was wondering what the opinion is of the Serious community?

Thanks Claude...the reason you say is also the reason why I never removed them myself....however it does seem to help if done the right way and if its good enough for Simon its good enough for me
