The male was not lanky at all really. Branches like crazy and grows like no other. Crazy Vigor!!
My female is kinda indica looking but not at all single bud. I vegged her out way too long and needed to cut half the plant so it could fit in the room. Shes a bushy growing plant. She is also very vigorous but more lateral growth then anything.. A SCROGers wet dream.. I bet if I SCROG her I can get big rewards from her. She really looks like a yielder... And she didnt stretch much at all. Not even half. But she puts on rock hard frosty ass buds that smell amazing.

I have full plant shots but didnt post them as shes really fading now and not as beautiful as she was 2 weeks ago.
Ill post them up once I load them so you can get a good look at her.
I also have some pics of the male/female in veg. They look almost identical. I have a REALLY good feeling about this Ix!!!

I agree. (Good feeling about the Ix) - What size lights are you flowering under again... (remind me?) How are you feeding?

Is the lady REALLY leafy? She kinda looks it in the pics - certainly frost laden...but how is her leaf to calyx ratio?

Im running a 600 vertical. Changing from vert to regular because I want to run a SCROG with this girl.
This girl was put in the mix Phillthy uses with some GO nutes but didnt up pot her to she how she does under stress.
As you can see she faded early and I didnt tend to her much at all.
Really wanted to make sure she didnt hermi and shes good to go..

Shes not really leafy but she does look it because her leaves are HUGE. I dont think she is the best plant for Vert, but im sure with some care she would work out great. She is a SCROG girl..
She will be 8 weeks this weekend. I will remove most of the leaves soon.
How long should I let her go DF? I was thinking maybe 9 weeks. I might snip off a sample if I do ill report back.

This girl was in veg for a minute in the same 1 gallon pot. She is crazy root bound but she is still rocking

He really has a stank of rubber to him. Anytime you move him its old tires

I took a sample bud at 8 weeks and I must say this is the BEST meds I have ever had.
This is exactly what I have been searching for. ZERO anxiety. Puts a smile on your face quick. Total mood changer
It feels as though I just receive great news.
Its perfect in every way. I can sit and relax or I can go mow the lawn. Best of both worlds.
DF how long do you think these need to go?
Im really worried that if I let them go a week or 2 longer its going to turn into some strong night time meds.
Maybe I will cut a chuck off this girl every week and sample them to find whats best but I must say 8 weeks is perfect so far.

I have to give all thanks and praises to DF and Phillthy for this cross. This will be around for a long time.. I will cherish this plant forever..

Not only did I find this amazing girl I also found my frosty snowman male.
And the kicker is I got this pack for $38..
From now on its Stank Bros or nothing for me..

I haven't really seen many good male pics, but I've definitely never seen one get frosty like that.
From you experienced male hunters out there, is that a rare trait?

Just wanted to put up a quick nug shot of the GromxDigi. Dont mind the bad trim job I didnt care much since this plant is all seeded with the Ix I plan on looking through

As you can see this is a frosty girl.
Its been curing only 1 week.
The smell has turned into a grape cat smell.. Best way to describe it is a persons house that has a cat smell they are trying to cover up with a grape plugin.. but smells great.. Very strong when its broken up..
Again I LOVE the high from this girl...

As always DF thank you for this strain and look forward to the CRAZY GLUE!!!!!!
DF I wanted to ask you your opinion on further working this line.
Should I pop the Ix beans and find the best female to take back to the frosty male?
Should I cross the Ix beans then back to the father?
Or find the best male in the Ix to take back to the mom?

Any input would be great.. I really want to work this line more as I believe the female I found is great but im sure there is better in these beans. Esp with the male I found..
And from when we spoke it didnt sound like you were working the GromxDigi any more then when released..

I wonder what would happen if I hit the frosty male with the Booberry??

Well, your male is special for sure. Grow the Ix, figure out what has been added and how they express, and then decide how best to progress based on what YOU want the line to develop towards..more like the female or more like the father. Besides...who says you can't do BOTH...muuuuhahahaha...

At a certain point you let the plants guide you based on what surfaces and once you learn a bit more about how the traits are passed to the next generation.

Certainly one crazy frosty plant - and if the high hits you perfectly.

That male, should be bred to as many female plants you become familiar with and enjoy as possible, in my honest opinion. The more various plants you see coming from him, the more you will be able to start pin-pointing exactly what it is he is contributing to the mix. Once you've done that - THEN - the real fun begins when you can start pairing him in a much more intentional manner and with a set of known expectations to be achieved.

THIS is what makes the hobby the most fun, truly. Jumping into your own project and pursuing what YOU personal love about the plants you grow.

I would expect the male you have to pair quite nicely with the booberry kush, honestly, given the male I used in that mix had a bit of a berry/skunky/rubber funk to him as well. Could find yourself working towards some heavy skunky fuel type expressions with a slight underlying sharp/musty/berry layer in there - but pair to more rubber funkiness, and you really could start building a pretty powerful stone.

Again, I think, personally, that rubber funk comes from latent sour bubble traits locked within the Digi Bx1 male - it's why I was stoked on a pre-98 Bubba Kush male that grew skunky/rubber/berry. He really did make a perfect mate for the Ghost OG. I expect those BooBerry Kush to be some awesome plants. Truly.

I got about 50 seeds from the 2 buds I hit for the Ix. If anyone is interested in these let me know and I can send them into the Bay. Thanks to DF for allowing me to do this!

I will be hitting a full plant to make more Ix beans so if the couple people who get these like them then I will send in more.

Really looking to take this strain further to see what happens.

I will also be popping 10 Ix and 6 BooBerry this weekend.
