Been crazy busy these days and dont have time to post.
Just wanted to throw up a quick dry shot of the BKGK im keeping..
It smells kinda like the pink medicine you give kids with a clean smell to it. Very unique!
And as you can tell the girl is frosty..
Will have a smoke of this tonight and give a pre cure review

Nice Genetic_Freaked! - Looks like the BKGK cut when taken @ 8 weeks. Wait until you sprout a more accurate purple pheno and you get the full depth of smells / flavors the line can offer!

The BKGK was a great strain. I have 3 more beans I need to pop left so my fingers are crossed I can find a more purple plant.

DF I would love to get your opinion on my keeper GromxDigi.
I loved the other one but this one is just special. I never had a plant grow this way. Its almost like it tops itself. I topped the plant a week after roots hit the dirt.
I want to throw this girl in vert but I dont think my stretch will be enough lol.. She didnt really stretch the first run. I might just place her right next to the fan under the light.. She is like 10" tall and been vegging like a month and a half.
First 3 weeks in a little beer cup then in a 1 gal bag.

Will throw her in in a 5 gal and hope she grows more up.
The vigor is there but it worries more about the lower branches then the top. Its almost as if she wants to grow flat.

Like I said a SCROGers wet dream.

Also the smoke is perfect for me. ZERO anxiety and almost makes you feel as if your hair is standing up. Very upbeat but relaxing.

I will also be updating this thread when I put her in flower. Will do a weekly pic just to show how she grows in flower..

I think you'd see more vertical growth if you thinned out some of that lower part. Also, looks like the plant wants / could stretch taller but is being kept ultra compact by closeness of lighting.. (?)

I think some of what you are seeing in her growth - ie bushy like that is environmental perhaps. I wonder what she would do say under a 1k that is stationary 50" above her, allowing her to simply grow into the light, so to speak...hehehe.

I'll hold too many more observations until I see her flowered out more - if you like her - I'm happy! Your male - is just brilliant! I think HE may be your real keeper in that batch of seeds! But the fact you have a lady that is suiting your needs is just making me even happier for you! Granted it was my male, but Phillthy had the vision to put these genetics together. I imagine the vigor from them would be hard to match...

Hey DF.. This girl has been under t5s through veg. The weird think is she is the only one who is not growing up.
She is like a 1.5' away from the t5. I would think that would be enough to make her stretch towards the light.
Ill be sure to post pics from the first week I throw her in flower.
Thinking I might up pot her into a 3gal and veg her a little longer.

I will trim up the lower growth tonight in hopes that helps her grow up more.

I mean, it could be entirely possible that IS how she grows...just wanted to check certain variables that might be worth considering...

If she wants to go wide...well, let her go wide..hahahha. Big girls need love too!!!

So this is a wide girl and Im going to show her some love..
I just put her chunky ass in a 3Gal and will be throwing her into flower soon..
Ill post a log of this in here because the first time I flowered her she stretched maybe an inch..
This may be the best micro or scrog plant I ever saw
If I do keep her I will be calling her Midget or Munchkin because she is maybe a foot tall at most and a little over a 1 1/2' wide

Heres the chunky girl almost 8 weeks in. She faded faster then I wanted but she is FROSTY.. Really hard to take pics of..
I dusted a couple branches with my frosty gromxdigi male and it looks like im going to get a fair amount to search through...
I hit my CaseyJonesXSourBubble who is almost identical to some of the SourBubble pics I see on BOGs forum.. Nice and frosty but with a WAY better yield
I also hit a very berry smelling BlueSat2.2 that has rock hard buds..

I cant wait to see how these turn out..

Really wondering if my male will pass on his frost.. He smells like old rubber tires. Hes a great male. I kept him in a beer cup for 2 months and didnt even bother with him. He didnt flower or show any fuss. And he clones in 5 days in cubes.

Heres some shots of my keeper GromXDigi. She smells amazing.. Rock hard buds that smell like muffins or berries with a funk to them. Almost like a grape bubble gum after a dude with funky breath chewed on it.. Smells great lol

Your male, was he lanky and fast growing - I know he was frosty, I remember that for sure without reading back...lol - You're female looks really frosty - but really indica???

??? - hard to tell from those shots... Is she really single cola or does it branch alot? How fast does she grow? How is the effect?

Great job on the crosses too - I bet the Ix will be great, given your male...not all of them frost up like that.

Grom is a really frosty plant - very vigorous...the digi male was very vigorous as well...both fast rooting plants, lots of branches, that could take a pretty good amount of punishment and bounce back ...ie, in veg.

Anyway.. great work...keep it up! I'm glad you're enjoying the line enough to take the time Ix it - I hope you continue to find / make improvements in the line!! Way to keep it alive and going!!
