Forever Grateful LAB - Rhode Island...
Hello all, I have over 2 decades of growing experience, and have recently started a new medical grow. I was not growing for the last 8months do to extreme medical conditions and am back to where I can handle the grow as well.
I am going to be growing an original cut from the eastcoastsour rhode island legend pre-2000 strain. I am using the 12 site ebb n grow with veg + bloom 100% (or close to lol) water soluble nutrients. I am also using some homemade carbs I engineered. I have the room under environmental controls, and C02 at 1200 and 10 under my HPSs and the other 2under my LED lights. I designed the spectral makeup for my LEDs by completing calculus relative to the curve found in the growers bible... I then had them manufactured to my spectral makeup to test the flower output/watt. The plants were put in 17 days ago and were only 2 weeks out of clone jiffy pellets and were in pro-mix media - I transferred into rock wool and had a transition week because of the new type of root growth needed for hydroponics. Below Picture of RI - Sours 2 weeks from cloning. (SORRY IT IS SIDEWAYS) Grown with 400w metal halide to get quick nodes in a few weeks. Unfortunately, lacking space, and I do not have a veg room so it is hard to get large plants to put into flower. However, I still anticipate with my growing techniques to yield 5 min per plant under the HPS - Not sure on LED yet though! Week one and two in the Ebb n Grow: EC 1.7, 1.8 pH 5.2-5.7 temp 66-72 and fresh oxygen from outside of room so roots get dissolved O2 not CO2 -- This is very important for pH stability of your solution! Below Picture of RI - Sours 2 weeks from soil into rock-wool and now 12/12 lighting photo period. Unfortunately, lacking space, and I do not have a veg room so it is hard to get large plants to put into flower. However, I still anticipate with my growing techniques(super crop/bending/pinching/and showing them all the love and brightness they deserve) to yield 5 min cured per plant under the HPS - Not sure on LED yet though! I was able to get 118 grams using a 180watt on my test plant of a Nepalese highland strain a year back! Same growing time! HPS: COMPARE PLANT TO CUP FROM PRIOR! (2 weeks) |

The post would not let me complete the text but, above are pics of both the LED/HPS in same timeframe and it shows the lights above. I will be posting more pics in next few days which will show another week in Forever Grateful LABs. The growth is impressive for starting from clone into flower... These would be beasts if I had a veg space!

Alright today is the 18th of March - the reservoir got changed it is now 18 days into flower and they are at an EC of 2.0 using Veg + Bloom. The pH is stable around 5.5 and the temp upper 60s to low 70s in Res. Same room conditions. New bulbs were put in to test against the LEDs which last a lifetime! The plants are both doing well under LED and HPS, both are just starting to get stretch, but my LED design seems to have tighter spaced nodes, less branching and nice flowers starting already. I anticipate a close comparison of Gram/Watt/Plant for the test! My LEDs will be up for sale if they compete with the HPS. I have to say I used "Advanced LED" USA Made and they SUCKED ASS! TERRIBLE YIELD and TERRIBLE PERCENT MEDICINE! DO NOT BUY THE EXTREME OR ANY OTHER THEY ARE A SCAM SCAM SCAM!

Here are some more pics enjoy - added my carb 15ml/gal and EC 1.7
I was told I was spamming - not sure what that means relative to my posts.. I am not selling any products and testing store bought HPS 1000w to my engineered PERSONAL LED unit. Also I am in RI, and bought ferts from San Diego - so def not trying to sell their product just showing what is used to help out! Anyhow if I offended you send me a personal message and explain what I am doing wrong... There was a wink so maybe it was sarcasm... Anyhoot dont polute! HPS: LED: Thank you for tuning in! |

(~);}..word^^^ for-fuckin-ever grateful
I dont feel its spam to say ":this companies products suck shit. i am trying to make one better, and heres the test thread"...no, the prize goes to the muthafucka who wins the race. but if you do something better than someone who is popular or whatever(or a rich company) , its often those people that hate on ya. fuck em good luck bro
