herms and auto flowering..

ive noticed that the ak47 has rapidly gone down hill lately.

ive had my first ever true herm this week and every female is throwing loads of pistils in veg. this has happened repeatedly over different packs now.

il add that i have defended serious seeds a few times and ive grown out alot of packs of ak over the past few years.

its not a fault on my part as i use t5s, ive noticed that cfls have been blamed for this issue in the past, plus its probably only packs from the last 12 months that have been like this.
i keep many other strains but the aks are the only plants doing this.

its not likely that il get an actual truthful answer about this. these seeds are not stable anymore.
ive grown about 4 packs of late. all regular , i dont buy fems.

anyway i would advise that people to be careful with the ak47 regulars. my packs were bought seperately from a popular stockist of serious seeds.

by the way.. i dont want any replacements or whatever. i will not be buying a pack of ak47 ever again after all these either. i dont want auto flowers in my grow room. i might try the white russian at some point or the bubblegum.

more autoflowering?

Hi,i am posting this on behalf of a friend of mine. He just got finished with a run of ak,no complaints there, great looking plants, both indica and sativa pheno's expressed,v.good yeild and perfect potency.Cuts were taken a week after they showed preflowers and were/are being grown under a 150 metal halide and will be used for mums. only they seem to be auto flowering, way to many pistals to be preflowers, they are under 18/6 light. Can someone from serious get back to me and explain what could be happening here? my own wild guess, could it be something to do with the thai genes involved in ak?ive heard how some can flower regardless of photoperiod when they are sexually mature, chronologicly ready.Maybe im way of the mark but have no other explaination to give to my friend, who is freaking out over this, appreaciate any reply.

Probably would avoid the russian as well....Dont know what they r breeding but herm issues here as well. Big loose buds that were average is resin...not like the original white russian that serious is known for.....2 cents.

I know of the problems you speak, I also veg under T5's and was told auto flowering was a result of that. I wouldn't say auto flower is the right word, I don't know. I had 2 of 4 phenos of bubblegum go auto flower, under my t5 and 1 of those 2 cuts auto'd under a friends 1k also. Bummer cause I really liked one of the 2 cuts that auto's. The other 2 cuts are fine, amazing smoke, I only popped 6 of the 11 I have so still could be some gems in there..
