hey guys! I just found this forum.. you all seem friendly

I was hoping you could help me out with my plans..

I would like to harvest a QP every couple months... I have a bunch of fluros on hand like...

6-15w cfl
4-27w cfl
1-33w grostik

Im going to have a mother/clone/veg and a flowering side...

I know I should get a HPS...but Im 2 broke... how much would a 150w cost? CND..

I plan on doing a SCROG, SWC kind of like NewGanjaBoy did on OG...

questions?comments?advice? but please dont yell at me ...this is my first grow

one thing i know others will tell you.. you NEED an HPS to get higher numbers with yield. Flourescent lights are good for vegging but not flowering. your buds will be very fluffy with not much weight. so unless you're growing tons of plants, its gonna be hard to get good yeild.

my 250w MH ballast with switchable HPS conversion bulb was under $100 USD on ebay and well worth it. you just wont get the same kinda buds with floros. so save up and invest in some sort of HID lighting.

IMO you wont even see a QP with floros every couple months...most plants take around 3-4 months from seed to harvest. you'd need to setup a veg and flower room/chamber to get pot every couple months.

i cant stress enough how much of a difference you will see with HID lighting compared to floro lighting. hope this helps a little and good luck!

goto hydro stores there are all closing down in my area they giving great deals I got a 1000 watt ballast for 40cdn
