I am considering a career in nursing, do nurses get piss tested?

Yes , my girlfriend is a nurse when you apply for a job they give you a test and so far thats been it for her.

My wife is a nurse-only if you are suspected. Like if the drug count does nto balance.

dont do anything that would jeopardize your job and pass the initial test and you should be ok. Stay off anything hard and dont get baked before work. Are you sure you wanna be a nurse? Thats a lot of resposibility and the hours are shitty...you mess up once and thats your ass in the pan.

I am choosing nursing because I have great interest in the medical field and being a nurse bring less responsibility than being a doctor. Also nursing has great job security.

And nurses enjoy much less BS than MD's.
My understanding is that there is always an initial test. After that, it's only if you seem suspect (meds going missing, syringe hanging out of your arm while you're unconscious, showing up to work blazed, etc). |
