DSD f2 or f3
I guess it dosen't really matter cause I only got 2 females that are pretty identicle in every way.....most notably lack of smell and not much in the frost department......maybe my expectations were too high?..Right now at about 42 days I've decided to finish them instead of culling.......but my expectations are no longer there.......I will reserve final assesments till they are finished and I smok...also I'm wondering how these can be a f anything....the orginal strawberry diesel from rez is a f1 hybrid and from there it's been nothing but incrosses.....wouldn't that make it the beginning of a ibl instead of a f2 ?

I never expect anything special when only growing out two females, odds are agaisn't you. As for the f1's,f2's, or f3's, I think you are right. This seems to be more of a bx than an F-anything.

good points but the identicle nature points to a pretty consistant thing even if it's only 2 plants they are twins and you'd think they were from clone and not seeds.....that is a good trait when doing the kind of work ganjarebel is with this line.....but they aren't that frosty and the smell is pretty weak......like I said ill reserve final judgement till Ive smoked um...maybe they shine in the pipe...hope they do...

Hi Homer J,
These DSD freebies are F2's from Rez's DSD v2. I selected my keeper clone mom in 07 for it's quick finish time, heavy resin production, and because it's an easy to grow efficient plant. I can see the difference in your plants. My guess is that the first pic is more strawberry leaning and got more of it's traits from the male I used. The second pic looks closer to the mom. This freebie project was done to preserve this strain for the ic mag community. I hope they improve in the smell department for you before they finish. My guess is yours will be done in 56 days or so. I've grown out plenty of these and have found the mom used dominates in these. Yield should chunk up too,I bet you'll be surprised how much they do in the last 10-14 days. Feel free to ask any other questions. Peace. |

GR....1st I had no idea these were freebies.I dont really keep tabs on the beans that come through here cause so many do...so my bad on that...
2nd all 3 pic's are the saame plant......I squezed some side buds to draw out what smell they have........left the top alone which may be why they look a little different.thanks for the reply... |
