BD2 tester

Alright 16 beans are sowed and poking their heads atm.

I needed to put things hold for a bit so I'm growing them at my friends place.

Coco, maxibloom, blumats and 400w is the start. Will add a light there later on.

No pics yet sorry about that. But when they're up and in new location will start to do it weekly.

Phuuh Festi bro, I been eating balls every day now with the Sour Diesels..
My own fault some stress there from the night temps.

Just getting little tired scanning them. They're putting out male flowers all around from top to bottom.

But I'm gonna see this trough any way

Very strong branching on them. And they look to deliver in the end too. Nicely selected bro!

Got one male with really big flower clusters..Gonna use him mostly but I got couple bags of mix pollen from all the sds.

I'll make the seeds with cuttings just to make sure everything is in order. So gonna take little time before I can send them.

THANKS TEAM HOL AGAIN and AGAIN!!!!!

Alright Nukku! Glad to hear you got your testers, but bumming on the sour d throwing so many balls. A few early on in flower can be expected, even when everything is dialed in.

She's a touchy bitch that's for sure, but well worth the extra attention. I had a large calyx pheno that was killer!

Personally, I hate mixed sex flowers, and I try to stay away from working strains with a herm trait. There should be zero issues with the BDII as both parentals were super stable.

We've been led to believe that lots of variation in a cross is a good thing, because some vendors would rather you buy several packs of their gear, instead of them actually doing the selections to fix that nag champa or golden clit trait themselves. For hobby growers, pheno hunting is fun. But mono-croppers who grow to pay the bills prefer a consistent product that regularly delivers the desired trait package.

Yeah Festi
Been growing enough of them to get use to it. These just got them all the way up too. Usually I been finding them on the lower parts where the light doesn't penetrate enough.

Did you do some selection on them or just let nature do it's way? Cause these are more sturdy than other sds I've grown.

Sounds very good with the bdII. I can't wait to get to play with them. Didn't get any ssh leaning ones from the sssdh f2 so I'm waiting eagerly.

The sour d was a random pollenation from a small number of individuals, not much selection was involved. It's widely known that the diesel line does throw a few balls, but I don't know that I would keep a plant that had mixed flowers from top to bottom though. The bud would probably be seeded.

I have had them throw male flowers because of being rootbound. It seems it doesn't take much to bring out that recessive herm trait in the s.d. It's great smoke, but is it worth it? Like most of the peeps on ICM I bought into the hype and just had to have it.

Would have hoped an IBL would be more stable...

Welcome Soursmoker and Johnny!

Yeah Festi. I grew a pack from reservoir and nothing special imo. I got better sour plants from csg. And Reds madness cross was way better.
I culled the 3 sds. Just don't want to take the chance for pollination. still got cuttings from them and few pollen packs. Gonna make the seeds after they're big enough.

And then to the BDII. Few down due damping off, sprayed with chamomile tea.
