Rare Darkness Grow Report - Rare Dankness (Moonshine's Seeds) - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

Hello All,

I bought a 10 pack of Rare darkness (Grape Ape x RD#1) seeds back in December and will be updating the journal frequently to update you all on the progress.
Grape Ape had been a favorite of mine a few years back and I really want to find a nice & dark pheno to use a mother and possibly use some of the males to breed with.

I slightly scuffed and germinated 10 seeds on 1-12-13 and soaked them for 24 hours then placed them into Rapid rooters and into a humidty dome.

There was 1 very immature seed that I was almost positive wouldn't germinate but I still gave it a shot. It was very light beige, almost white and small, looked like you could easily just smash it with a slight pinch. It did not ever sink in the water so it was casualty #1

The other 9 did but 1 died as I tried to help it escape the root cube and knocked off its leaves

so we have 8 to follow through their lives.
They have been transplanted into solo cups using FF Light warrior as the medium, using a small amount of Hormex and GH Rapid Start along with RO water.

Here they are at day 18 under a 4ft T5, all nice & green.

Looking forward to the show. Here is a recent shot of Rare Darkness I snapped in a CO dispensary's grow. She's like the sea: no picture or painting can really do her beauty justice.
