There are some exceptions of course, but generally if you have smoked one Kush/indica, you have smoked them all when it comes to effects. Skunk varies a bit, but generally it sits somewhere between the Kush and Haze hybrids. Haze hybrids are the only popular strains that really do seem to still have some variety in effect and I think that is primarily because the hazes haven't been as popular in mainstream commercial breeding and growing so they haven't been crossed as much. It's nice to see the unique land races making their way into the mainstream. They are refreshing a very stale and inbred gene pool that has essentially been almost entirely based off of the original skunk, kush and haze lines being bred back and forth with each other for decades. Most of the smoke I have experienced which was truly unique is at least 50% land race genetics. Breeders like Mandela who are still interested with working some of the old land race lines are doing good work.
