Week 7
Seven weeks in, time for an update.
First off, the LEDs in the Quinoa Tank are now supplemented by a vertical 24W PL-L. Which, why am I LST'ing this dumb quinoa if it's a vertical grow? Well for one thing it's getting a lot bushier: Also, I love the hard candy striping on the stem: I was trimming leaves today and ate one. Taste is pretty bland and green, like a cross between baby spinach and bluegrass. The day/night cycle has been slipping from 18/6 on Monday to 14/10 today, so next week will be 12/12. Time to see if quinoa stretches! |
