MBSxWaf
Hi All,
This will be my 1st growthread at ICM but this line deserves some attention. I have 6 indoors in DWC (using GHE 3 part and lighting with 3 overhead and 2 sidemounted 400w) and 2 outdoors(using B.A.C.) Every 1 cracked w/i 24 hrs in damp towel and were placed in rw cubes. Once roots showed I planted directly in soil and in DWC. Been vegging indoors about a month and they are some vigorous and very bushy plants. I am a bit worried that they will crowd out their neighbors. Just went 12/12 last week and they are about 18". As these progress I will update and add pics(once I figure out how to upload pics here). Excited to see these through. Just got thru a series of seeds (not Wally & Moon's) that wouldn't germ followed by an outbreak of creepy crawlers - essentially wasted alot of time and $ so I am still a bit gunshy and am careful about being too sure of my grow especially since I have limited DWC experience. Indoors I am also running Devil, Herijuana and a couple hazes so I will try to post some side by side pics as they all were started about the same time. ATM they are very healthy and have HUGE fat leaves (bigger & bushier than either Devil or Herijuana) and a big stem (may be from DWC). From what I've been told Waf is an Afghan landrace and you all know MBS already. Well thats it for now, P77

I'm looking forward to this grow as I have some WAF/MBS seeds myself. I am also growing Herijuana from Humboldt County. It is an old school cut and it smells like honey and is sticky like it too.
Big blessings on your grow! Dawn |

Hey All,
I swear since going 12/12 these MBS/Waf are growing 3" a day - they are exploding!!! And they are drinking and eating like a 400lb guy at the casino "all you can eat" buffet. The Herijuana is stretching now to get out of their shadow. Question: are these MBSxWaf or WafxMBS? P77 |

Hi, 1 fem 1 male showing but sadly so are little yellow dots on top of a couple leaves which means mites to me so I blitzkrieged all the plants with neem and sanies remedy - no webbing yet...

Hi,
Only 1 fella and all the rest gals - unfortunately one of the Herij's grew some balls too - hopefully I got them all. The WafxMBS are about 2', very bushy and lots of bud sites. Should be an interesting grow since I planned for 1/2 (males) to be removed but mother nature once again thrown me a curve, albeit a happy 1. I'm citronella/neeming as a precaution against mites and whiteflys every few days. Also very lightly dusted with baking soda and increased vent strength and added 2 more fans to help prevent mold. Uh oh - found 1 open nanner on a Herij that i missed - may have pollenated the whole room - o well lots of interesting crosses there - however, since Almost daily been drenching plants hopefully washed away most of pollen that wasn't already stuck to female flowers

hey prof ,
thanks for taking the time to grow her out and do a thread man, its a fun variety to grow, vigorous , stout , and boy you should see the bud it can make .. ' they do tend to get quite a trunk on them aswell .. has to , to support the colas that can form .. its still a variety in the test stages , i really like it though , and others growing it seem to be enjoying her also ... longer flowering indica dominant varieties might seem a waste of time to some, but thats cause they havent tried them yet ... |
