Health in the Environment: STAGHORN SUMAC
Stagorn Sumac in many areas are a nuisance. I appreciate that they are not on my property, however their red cones are overly abundant w vitamin c. you cant soak them in water to drown out and float up all the buggies. i strain it through a bandana and freeze it into cubes. When flu season approaches pop the tart cubes into your water instead of lemon. enjoy! (vit c content higher than that of a lemon.)
