the need to share your grows ,
in the form of a few pictures ,
really really helps ,
it is probably one of the major points,
i dont see anything in your gallery to suggest you like to grow ...

Alot of growers post in their forums when they are going to do tests and are looking for testers. The best way would be to become part of the community, build a little rep around here, get to know people, make some friends, share with the community etc.

I have been here a year and just got my first chance to test for HOL. Krom nom nom nom nom

Your goal should be just to learn and be part of the community, the rest will follow, if you just signed up to get some free beans to test it probably won't happen like that.

most of the breeders will individually ask for testers for new lots of stuff and you would need to document whole grows here on plants you already have to at least show you can provide a thread good enough to hold up your end of the deal..

probably 90% of people that get given tester seeds don't document them, which is a shame, and everyone wants to be a "tester"..

free seeds! great fun

thats the truth unfortunately lost at sea,
i have advertised for testers ,
got an overwhelming response,
and an under whelming amount of reports back ..

but i did get to learn who was reliable ,
i wouldnt advertise again to get testers ,
ill just go to the ones who i know are reliable and honest ,
and have proven themselves to be ,,
this is where the pics can help relic ,
if your passionate enough about your growing,

you must be itching to share your grows with us ,
usually goes hand in hand ...

Yes Donald....it was difficult to get my first testers sent to me...the reason....people take the seeds and run....they never make a log and thus screws those who do want to do a log. I agree you must have a portfolio for the breeder/pollenchucker.... lol.... to see your work before they give you seeds. I had to post pics of my grows and got them scrutinized etc.....but finally got my testers...
Fortunately....I did a good job on my first/ previous testers and now do not have much of a problem getting them...I am fairly well known to always pop them and have the logs going with pics as soon as I get them....

Tony....lol.....you test more shit then I think anybody....you must have 4 100x 50 green houses out there in Wash.....man I love your smoke reports.....

Best thing you can do if you ever do get a chance to test some beans......Show and Grow them immediately.
Respects,
C1

I know it's an older thread, but If you still live locally here in Humboldt, I'd be willing to let you test some seeds. Above pics are mine
