I like to appreciate the fact we live here in Australia where we have some of the most beautiful countryside and native animals that live here with us.
The history of how the Aborigines were treated and slaughtered is something I don't celebrate in the slightest but give thanks to be together with my family and to live in such a lucky country.
I hope all the aussies here @ ICMag have had a good day with a good feed, a few drinks and buds and spent it with family and friends.

Cheers b00m. That's pretty much how i see Australia day too mate. Catch up with the mates, few beers and steaks- made for a great day.
I asked an Aboriginal mate what today meant to him and how the whole thing affects him as an Aboriginal man. His response was that he gets a little sad about his people losing their land and customs but mainly likes the fact that he gets a paid day off on Monday

He's a realist.
