Any RPG Fans Out There?

Hey you, gamer..you play RPGs? I do and they rock, most of em' anways do.

Just recently got into Shin Megemi Tensei. It's a JRPG, and it's totally freaking awesome! It has a really good story and tons of things to do including cool options and adventures. It's time consuming, I know, but they're like reading a very very good book and getting sucked into the story and before you know it you've spent the better part of a day playing it.

Lots of good RPGs for the Xbox, PS3 and some on Wii and PC and portables.

If there's any RPG gamers out there holla back and let's talk about RPGs.

I havent played an RPG since FFX and FFX-II and I never finished X-II.

Although I bought Lost Odyssey, recommended to me by the guy at GameStop, and played a few hours and it was a horrible story line IMO, I could not get into it at all unfortunately.

I have an XBOX 360 could anyone recommend an excellent RPG I might like?

I only DDO. (ddo.com)

3 years... I've spent about $100. My gaming budget. LOL

Used to play AD&D with pen and paper 30 years ago... was too slow for my autistic attention span. Online MMORPG is wicked fast and fun.

They say the game sucked when it came out... Can't tell these days as it's really a bitchin game engine now. I hang out on Khyber server.

Stay Safe!

Going to be spending a good chunk of tome playing Shin Megami Tensei tonight after I get some things done, I can't wait..such a good story and lots of adventure.

I used to be way more into RPG's than now, but it seems they are still super popular and keeping some systems going. Then there's crap games out there too, but people are voicing their opinions and game companies are responding in 'Kind'..lol..I love the JRPG style with the music and the characters, it's just fun.

I used to play Skyrim on PS3, but I sold it and got a couple psn cards to get more games.
with winter here now and not much to do out in the cold, it's time to game it up for the next few months until Spring arrives.

the_ginga_ninja will become famous soon enough
I play a few RPG's/MMO's. WoW, Skyrim, Oblivion, Fallout 3/NV, Deus Ex, Diablo 3, and Borderlands 2 as of late. I started Dishonored but kind of forgot about it until recently.

I really love the modding community behind Bethesda games. The mods add so much depth and just make the game so much better.

I keep reading that Ni No Kuni : Wrath of the White Witch is quite good. It keeps getting good reviews in the high 8's and even low 9's. People that are playing are saying that it's very fun and imaginative.

I wish I had some extra money right now and I'd totally buy it. Maybe it'll go on sale soon somewhere online, I need to feed my gaming addiction!

I would imagine you have a pc and an internet connection....Have you tried DDO? It's free to play, fast and as RP as you want to be...

Lots of RP only guilds and groups of players. It IS a different type of RPG though... not a single player and less involved story line.

One thing though... game play SIGNIFICANTLY changes with the beginning build of your character. It's a game you can play without really getting into char generation or it's something you can go all out and completely customize. As detailed as you like.

I prefer reading up on the forums before rolling a new char. A little research goes a long way. The pre-builds they offer are only 'ok' and you'll get average game play and fun.

It feeds my addiction for free. I think I've spent less than $100 on it in 3 years.. and most of that in the last 6 months.

Stay Safe!
