I've got 2 plants going, they were about 3 weeks into flower, now back in veg for a while---an Ice and an unknown bagseed. Long story short, due to utter stupidity, I forgot to water them for 2 days last week, and a foot of my 2 foot Ice died due to lack of water, and about a foot of my 3 foot unknown died. They're recouping, coming back, thank god.

Instead of just chucking them in the garbage, I set the dead portions aside with the trimmings pile, and made cannabutter last night. I went for a quick-set in the freezer for a little over an hour, and put it in the fridge. After debating over whether or not to make toast, I decided on a baked potato and nuked one up in the mikey, and went to town with the butter, since I like my taters nice and buttery anyway.
Well, an hour later I realized I might have went a bit overboard with the amount of butter, seeing as how it was a HELL of a lot stronger than I expected.

NOTE: Not the first time I've made butter, just the first time having a batch this strong

I ate the butter around 10pm last night, and really started to feel it around 11pm, and the ridiculously lethargic stone had me on the couch listening to the radio until 4am.
What to do when you're unable to move? Muster up the strength and make the effort to move 5 feet and grab your walkman radio

I managed to drag myself to the bedroom, where I promptly sunk into a blissful sleep until 10am. I wasn't concious but an hour, the stone was STILL hanging in there, and I just couldn't stay awake.
So I went back to sleep for another 3 1/2 hours, and again, was still stoned when I woke up close to 3pm. I've spent the afternoon in a stoney daze, and hot damn, I am just loving it

7:15pm currently, and I'm still going, and I'm thinking about referring to this lengthy high as the Energizer Buzz

stuff is awsome I made some and let me gfriend make some cookies with it...she dosent like weed so I was the only one to try this batch of "Special" cookies...well for a hour it dint seem like shit and Ive been smoking all day...but god darn! a hour later I was fucking suck on the couch watching the dumbest shit on T.V. but mostly zoning out.... GREAT STUFF!! will make again!!

ganjatreats yum, just about any part of the plant can be extracted via butter if done right...you were into flower so its not surprising you felt something from the stuff..

the quallity of yer concentrates are only as good as the starting material

i use real buds for my butter

OMG its death i use about 4 to 6 8ths of buds heat up the butter throw the buds in watch for a few then screen it then mix all of it the brownie mix with a lil blue berry pankcake mix and DAM SON!!! you be sick for days hahahaha

hehe thanks for acknowledgin the 420th there capt. was too high out in brownie space ta notice.

personally i think adding water to the extraction process is a must. 100% better flavor and almost nill chance of burning the butter that way. just takes an extra step in letting the water n butter separate in the fridge. btw, i think 4 hrs should be the minimum time. no sense in wasting all that herb if you're not gonna extract as much thc as ya can! have fun everyone

i think he must have been usin some super-duper-triple stackedtrich shit b/c ive never heard of a 'few' anything ecept hours and on low heat

when the plant material goes all black u know its done

adding distilled water is nice for your first couple times then once yer tek is dialed in you can go without it

i use it everytime b/c like ralph i dont want to burn anything

the more water you add the loger it will take

4hrs is my norm

like 10 mins and constant mixing. i made some yesterday too
i didnt use as much at much buds this time. becuz the last batch 2 brownies would make you sick. this time is alot more mild and a great body high.
