Thank You
Thanks everybody for the kind words. Let me answer a couple of questions.
Steel S., yes I did push her pretty hard. It was my first run with the High End, so I was testing the limits. I germinated 5 beans, got 2 females and 3 males, 100% germ. rate. The 2 ladies both were average odor levels, but the one pictured was the better producer. They both had the taste of their rene' mother, with great happy energy-mood lifting stone. The smaller of the 2 was simply awesome, extremely powerful, with superior medical pain management properties. Althought both ladies were very nice, and both had the taste I remember from Vancouver at the first Toker's Bowl, very sweet and unusual. I did not get any clones this run, but I did germinate my last 5 seeds this weekend, and so far, 5 tap roots showing. Red, my dear brother, it is always my honor and pleasure to work with your magic beans! I could not be happier, and I am going to be getting more, you can bet on it! I need to find me some mothers! Sun T., I run the full line of Advanced Nutrients in DWC. There is a shot of the roots on harvest day, shown held above the bubble bucket. I am very limited on space and numbers, so I push to maximize. That lady, her sister, and a true blueberry under a 1000 watt HPS, CO2, air conditioned, vented hood, 56 days. The bigger lady finished with a 16 inch kola 32 g., 7+ ounces total dry. The other HE around 3+ ounces, and 4+ ounces BB nugs. |

Hey BSM, like I said great to see you around. The Highend was a project that took quite a while to come to fruition. The mother, the Renee, is not an easy plant to manage. She is a very low yielder and when slightly stressed will hermie. There is no viable pollen from the created male flowers which is why we decided to try to make a hybrid out of her. I couldn't think of a more stable plant other than DJ's hand picked Blueberry male to hit her with. There is for sure some variation in the seeds, which I love. You can see both spectrum's of the parents in there progeny. I do have to say, that the Highend has now become one of my favourite "flavouring" resins. Usually when I cook up some hash I will use 45u LUI bubble as the base and then add 8-14% dry rub{cleaned through 3 screens(90u, 70u and a 50u)}. The dry resin I usually will use is either Sweet Skunk or the Johhny Blaze. The Highend has now made it into the rotation. Once mixed I will then cook and press. After about 1 month(if there is any left) the oils that are released make the hash pure candy. I implore all who grow this strain to make hash from the trim-she is definitely something special!

hummm, very interesting! Red, is it in your plan to do a backcross or 2 to the renee mom? And maybe sometime start sibcrossing for renee traits until IBL? Iam sure the Highend is excellent but more renee in the genepool cant be bad IMO...

Possibly, there are other projects that I'm working on right now. At the moment I'm having phun with the original Cheese cut. We hit her with the same dad as the Highend to create The Stilton. We are doing testing right now.
