Well, here we go with a photo log.

Had a handfull of these beans to pop..... did 2. Both are up and running!

400w MH Horitlux on a lightrail light mover 18/6.
FFOF soil, beans straight in starter pots on a heat mat and humidity dome. then later taken out.

The light is a bit high thanks to not wanting to burn fresh sprouts and a couple new clones..... but here you go on the seedlings.

Not much to report,.... Managed to burn them with a spray of "Don't bug me" a bit too close to lights on. Other than that, I've fed em once with no issues, (seemed to love it, might be heavy feeders? ) and #2 has shot WAY up!!! stretchy as all get out. #1 still shows the nice compact growth structure that i would like. No signs of sex yet.

why not just go to a pot twice as big,(3L say? still only small. the health of the plant and better yields should compensate the very small extra soil costs.(what size pot 's are they 0.5L? you dont have to transplant them straight to their final pot's(re, very big) after sexing.try it on one plant. you will be surprised in the difference.

It's a trick I found, little bit of root bound causes flowers. My DJ Short gear would almost start to Autoflower if it was left to root bind a little.

I have one that looks aweful girlish, just no hairs yet. The other is yet determined.

They're not suffering yet, and get checked 2-3 times a day, new pots are soon I'm sure. I figure less than 2 more weeks in these starter cups. Honestly, I'm not turning things around for heavy yield or speed. It's all personal use, and I'm limited to 12 plants, so I kinda get to be picky with the ones I really want to keep in the garden.

Sorry for the lack of updates,..... Been waiting for things to develop more,.... and managed to loose my cable to make my camera talk to my computer!

It's not looking good honestly for the first 2 beans, had to top them both to keep em from burning on the bulb as it passed by.

However, both are starting to show sex!

Sadly,... initial expectations of one boy one girl are looking more like one virulent boy, and another not so much boy!

I'm gonna wait till things define a bit better before I drop the axe on this pair. But suffice to say, my hopes are NOT high right now.

On the Plus side, I cracked 1 bean each "Secret OG" and "SSHxGF" and they both sexed out as girls!!!!

So I guess, thus far with CVS gear I'm technically 50/50 M/F!!!
