Speed Queen 2013
Welll here I am with my first post. Long time follower here back to about 07-08, and a big fan of Mandala genetics.
I'm running speed queen here and she is in day 16 of flower. I have three females that I have cloned and am running the clones in flower and keeping the seed plants as mothers. They are under a 600 hps for flower and vegged for two weeks before under a 600 mh conversation in a m2 tent. I'm using coco and veg+bloom by HR at around 1.4 ec. Have had some trouble with Ph pens of late but hopefully my blue lad pend will resolve this, nothing these tough girls couldn't handle in stride. Roots are filling the coco very nicely, thicker, whiter roots on clones then I have seen on other strains from seed. Feel free to ask questions or leave comments. ![]() |

Just curious when you acquired the Speed Queen seeds? They have been unavailable for a couple of years. Btw I've grown SQ and love it, just waiting it's return to sale.

I've had these Speed Queen seeds for close to four years before I popped them. The Mandala site states they will be back this summer and are sold out, not discontinued. I have Sadhu also and that is a strain I'm looking forward to exploring as well. I hope Mandala releases more of both of these lines in regular seed form and leaves the fems for the exotic stuff...

Sutra when you grew SQ, what did you find, what was your favorite pheno?
The three I have are all differant and range from skunky citrus to carpet glue to a weak herb smell. The first two are close in structure but the citrus is tighter. The weak herb on is all stem in flower and has been the slowest to flower of the three... |

The weather has been extremely cold here and caught me off gaurd. This is the first time I have ever had to add heat to a grow and still have my highs be at 67 degrees. It the low temps do not appear to be slowing these healthy girls down though. SQ1(carpet glue) and SQ2 (citrus skunk) are really starting to stack and push out thick white hairs, SQ0 (parsley) seems behind a week. Ill have some more pics up in a couple days. Hope everyone is staying warm and has there pipes wrapped...
