I'd love to know of any "elite" clones Oz and NZ have to offer. I have been fortunate to sample the "Nelson Red-Beard," Masta Yoda (or so I have been told), Te Kakariki, and the elusive "Te Puke thunder". However none of these, except the yoda, proved to be as amazing a strains as we were lead to believe they were(though I never got to grow it.). The most popular strains I've heard of are White Rhino, White Widow, etc... but everything I've been told about these "strains" seems bullshit compared to what I've been recieving. So I guess my question is, what the fuck is going on down here? We have so much oppertunity, but don't seem to take advantage of it, and from what I've heard NZ strains are comparable to Cali strains as we are near the same parallel, just opposite. (42^ compared to -42^)

Mate with the amount of wide open, rich volcanic soil you guys have, I'd be looking more towards good outdoor bud, presuming of course by elite clones you are referring to indoor weed. It will be out there, young Jedi, but the search is long and the valleys are wide..

Either of those two, grown and handled well, should do you nicely, but it depends on what you are expecting. A fullon indica red eyed, dry mouthed couchlock, or a trippy get-up-and-go type sattie?

hmmm I think I had a few too many Steinlagers before I posted last night. What I was trying to ask is if any one knows of any "born and bread" NZ strains, outdoor or not other than the ones I have listed. The climate and conditions in the Northern regions are very similar to the "Golden Triangle" of Northern California (where I am originally from) so I am suprised there isn't more localized strains around here. I know kiwis are a very paranoid bunch, however for good reason, the laws and attitudes surrounding marijuana over here are very Draconian considering the amount of people who do enjoy a casual smoke from time to time. So i guess I'm trying to appeal to some fellow kiwis here at IC mag who have more knowledge of strains and their history in this country as the only good forum pertaining to cannabis in our country has had a major drop off in users since the bullshit "Lemon lime and bitters" operation. I am a little bit of a weed nerd and would love to know as much as possible about this amazing plant in this amazing country, because as they say knowledge is power, and the more you know the more you grow.

To Cann, I was luckey enough to have to Kiwi parents so have been granted dual citizenship (NZ and USA). I don't know too much about becoming a citizen, but can ask around. You could always marry a nice kiwi girl.

Electric Puha, Ping Pong, Orange Roughie, Hairy Mclairy etc. there's a fair few around bro, just that most people keep what they have to themselves in my experience. Plus if someone's going outta their way to tell you what they've got etc 9/10 they're talking shit and just tryna make a quick buck. At the end'a the day the product outcome is more down to the individual grower than the strain anyway.

Haven't for certain tried any of the strains you've mentioned..not from sources I'd 100% trust at any rate..I can't prove it but I don't believe a word 'Yoda' has to say after some of his posts back on Norml..hadn't got a clue about Exodus's cheese and yet a couple weeks later was spouting bs about how hed been to their mansion etc several months/years previously..just another troll picking on noobs.

p.s. re what you said about white rhino etc..there are a couple mean old cuts around from early northern lights, rhino etc but again the majority of people throwing these names around have just googled names to try upsell their bush. Most people bs more than they speak truth when it comes to green lol..god knows why.
