Thumbs up Thanks Mike Hussey for the memories!!!

Beneath the Southern Cross I stand!
A sprig of Wattle in my hand!
A native of our native land!
Australia, YOU FUCKING BEAUTY!!!

- Australian National Cricket Team Song

Huss has been leading the team song for years now, and has handed the honor & responsibility down to Nathan "Garry" Lyon

Cheers Huss for all the memories!!!

And last but not least, THE REASON he's hanging up the boots - "my greatest achievements": (and yes, the oldest son is already playing cricket!)

This SCG test was just magic stuff to watch, and an absolute fairytale way for Huss to go out on ... was hilarious when Clarke and Cowan were batting with ~40 runs to go and the crowd were chanting "Husssssseyyyyy, Husssssseyyyyy", hoping one of our own batsmen would actually get out (!!!) so that next-man-in Hussey could take to the crease one last time ... then the rampant applause from the crowd when Mitchell Johnson simply blocked each ball to survive the over, as they wanted Huss to hit the winning runs!
and combined with how awesome Jane McGrath Day was ... wow, just really awesome stuff and I feel privileged to have been able to watch it! Wade's century wasn't too hard on the eyes either!

RIP Tony Greig - summers will never sound the same

Huss is just a champion bloke in so many ways. Modest, loves his family, mates and country.
If more of us were just 10% of the champion person he is, this place would be so much better than it is.

THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE MR CRICKET. YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.

And congrats to Garry for being handed the honour of being the lead singer. With any luck that cements his place in the team for a bit.

Yep, Good on ya Huss!! His humble approach and skills are going to be very greatly missed.

At least he can prolly kick back and smoke sativas now without worrying about his fitness after a big munchies attack lol... i have no idea if he indeed does enjoy a puff but i'd like to think he does
