Tangerine Trainwreck Haze Flowering Journal
Here is the interesting Tangerine Trainwreck Haze from week 5 and on. There are two distinct phenos: a tangerine peel funk dominant one and a more stretchy, taller tangerine-lemon haze dominant one.
Grow Environement: ample EYE Hortilux HPS light in a medium-sized, cooled tent. 10 gal smart pots filled with a mix of Ocean Forest, Light Warrior, and perlite. Feeding with organic nutes by Nectar for the Gods (their advanced 8 part formula). This will be a photo journal mainly with low quality images until the end when there's something pretty to show. Knowing well the flowers of a few different tangerine haze phenos in Colorado, including Moonshine's ole Stone Mountain dispensary version, my tangerine peel funk pheno is closest to the Tangerine Haze mom., Her sugar leaf rub aroma isn't very pleasing, but more acrid like the zest of an unripe tangerine peel, plus a classic haziness, and a little citrusy.
The taller and stretchier tangerine lemon haze pheno has thinner and longer leaves with more space between leaf fingers. And just an explosion of long white pistils. She smells fantastic. |

Day 38
Day 38.
Tangerine Peel Funk pheno has an intense and overpowering "Tangerine Haze" acridity and funkiness that will take the paint off your car. Tangerine Lemon Hazy pheno is very pleasant smelling and citral. Like sour lemon-tangerine punch, More crystally than its sister above at this stage, but I don't doubt they will be tied in the end. |

Day 53 Photos
Here is the Tangerine Peel Funk pheno that's closest related to the Tangerine Haze. Showing lots of purples under cool, but gentle, intake air. Looking like a very potent and special smoke; but so far low yielding. Here's the Tangerine Lemon Hazy pheno. Lots of trichs and still very citral and hazy growing; but not out of control hazy because she just decided to really pile on the calyx layers. |

I spoke too soon on the tangerine peel funk pheno's yields... She was just behind in her flowering schedule from the rest o them, but now both are really packing on trichs and calyxes bigtime. Especially the tangerine lemon hazy pheno which is going to have a monstrous main cola!

Day 55
The Tangerine Haze - dominant pheno, which I'm calling the Tangerine Peel Funk pheno is starting to add lavender colors in both calyxes and leaves. Cold intake air is why. Here are some nicer pics of these ladies... Tangerine Peel Funk pheno Tangerine Lemon Hazy pheno |
