Punta Rosa, Panama Pelo Rosa, & Jarilla Sinaloa

Could you please describe what distinguishes the effects of Punta Rosa, Panama Pelo Rosa, & Jarilla Sinaloa from each other?

I'm looking for the best sativa for my tastes with flowering period under 14 weeks. I'll have to wait until May to grow something like Colombia Mangobiche, which will join Mekong Haze and perhaps OT Haze.

Also, is there any difference between Ace's Panama and yours?

Thank you!

a passionate lover of sativas..

Hola Oneiros

Punta Rosa is 50% colombian, 50% panama. Effect doesnt differ that much in style to Panama pelo rosa (an F6 selected in regular Panama breeding) Cerebral, spacy, some times desorienting, tasty, lime, spicy. Happy effect

Panama is bit stronger effect, and more long lasting than Punta Rosa. Aromas are more into lavanda/lemon, very nice yields and very quick maturing after all this job for a sativa. I bred the Panama for ACE long as written in their room, not difference until today

Jarilla is a classic lemon mexican, thin branches, so lemony scent and quite quick for sativa. I like better the longest greenest/goldest ones, strongest of all which are done at around 14 weeks. Social effect, funny, bit mellow sometimes and at the end

Dont forget about the Bangi Haze, more african influence, very qqquick and more energetic too

Best

^^ Charlie, would the more red pistil Panama Red be more like the Punta Rosa in effect? There was one pheno of the Panama that had red pistils and the other did not till it was mature, then they turned red or red-brown. The pink pistil one matured faster as well.

Thank you kindly for the excellent reply, Kaiki. From what I read it seems Panama would be my best choice. I have 10 seeds en route to me now.

I'll be popping ~62 seeds soon and see where that takes me... It's going to be ridiculous, 8 strains with a target of 36 pure sativas, more or less, under 1000w in soil. No vegging. Is that crazy?

Cheers!

The red pistil pheno ones in Panama can be more introspective imo while green ones can be more euphoric or expansive. It was a red pistil Panama mom used with a Punto Rojo columbian male. I found Punta Rosa more spacy while Panama may provoke deeper thoughts.

Can be crazy but depends, dont use larger pots at the beginning to avoid stretching its best. I like better from clone as they start putting flowers all along stems, from down to bottom
Wellcome to the jungle

best luck everyone

If I want to flower 16 plants under 1000W, what size pots would you recommend?

I realize now that 36 plants will demand more time than i have.
36 plants flowering? What was I smoking?

Cheers!
