Hi all, I recently acquired 2 NYCD cuts from a very good friend so this was the perfect opportunity to try them out in my first UC system.

Nice work covering everything in panda plastic. Looks legit!

I also like that you painted your containers.

That's a big area for only 2 plants!

Must have some trees on the mind?

I usually allow for long veg times in my previous setups & the plants take up alot of room so thought Id try a 2 pot experiment with the UC just to see how tall & wide the plants reach.

The NYCD's have just been potted so Im starting them off with 125w above each plant & gradually up grading the lighting to 400w. And 600w from the beginning of flower.

I thought that looked like a CFL but I wasn't sure if these old eyes were playing tricks on me. I can't wait to see this room half way through your flower.

Looks great. Are those white? Might wanna cover them with either panda or tinfoil to ensure no light leak.

Nice to have people looking out Hydro.

I'm almost positive they didn't originally come white.

Which is why if you read the second post in the thread, you will see I gave him rep for painting the containers already.

I would bet they are less light proof then they were originally now.

*Hides picture of my own none light proof lid* Doh!

After reviewing in detail.... I'm not sure if they were painted or not....

Guess will let Game clarify on that one.

Sorry hydro- I've never seen all white brute/rubermaid containers before, I assumed he painted them.

It's been my experience that light does not penetrate white plastics enough to cause algae.

super clean! do you plan on topping them at all? stoked to see how this progresses because they are similar sized containers as i use, but i went with aero instead of UC or DWC type.
