Couldn't figure out where to post this but I guess this will work... Just picked up a few of the small sized canisters of Doctor Doom bombs. Tents a little nasty and starting noticing some fungus gnats so as a preventive measure would like to bomb the tent before the next cycle gets going.... I have 2 veg tents... both are the HTG mother keepers so about 4x2x4 and was wondering if I should use 1 bomb per tent... or If I should seal up both tents and run a duct line from 1 tent into the other and set 1 bomb off and let the gas or whatever you would like to call it disperse into the other tent via the duct line connecting the two.
Feel like 1 bomb would be a little over kill.... Also any problems leaving the t5 fixture in the tent while bombing as long as its unplugged? Thanks

fungus gnats live in medium, not the enviroment. using a container bomb would be a waste of effort and money.

I use the small bomb on a 12 x 12 room
they work good
I would join the 2 tents and shut of all fans. u can leave T5 in
I m sure they would kill the adult fungus gnats but not the larva.

M using azamax also as a soil drench to kill the ones in the medium. Thanks guys

I've been batteling mites with azamax. it says it killz all stages, but I believe you must follow directions closely and stay on top of the problem. everyday inspect thoroughly, spin those plants around, get a good view.

how should I clean up between harvest. I use 5 gal. buckets. maybe a bleach and water solution? how many parts? any help I would appreciate. I am going to doc doom bomb between, but I need to scrub buckets, they have been here for 3 harvests now

I'd probably leave the tents open and set the bomb near both tents. It should fill them with all fans off.

If all else fails you can try Gnatrol WDG (1-7 grams per gallon depending how bad infestation is)

Watering with 2-3ml of SM-90 every watering helps keep gnats away for me. Oh and those yellow sticky traps, gotta have those.

Doctor Dooms work ok but for the money I recommend Pyrethrum Total Release Fogger because it has a much higher % of Pyrethrum in it, so you can get more bang for the buck.
