AK47 ready 8 weeks
Couple days away from 8 weeks. One looks almost ready but keeps shooting new pistils. The others have a lot more new pistils but the trichs are like 90% cloudy.. Thats usually when I chop but I like to try to wait till the pistils brown up.
What do you guys think. This is my first AK run so I don't really know the sweet spot to harvest these yet. |

It's up to you. What desired effects do you want? Clear and cloudy is more of a high. Amber adds a narcotic effect. I would let it go another week with a flush with water and then lights out for 48 hrs. IMHO

Wonderful Looking Plants...
I just did three runs of AK-47 and prefer 70 days / two week flush... A lot of green in your photos and once you start flushing that monster will suck the green right out of the plant, making for some smooth dank... Look foreword to up-dates... |

Actually trying to keep it green till harvest as close as I can, with light feeding.. I haven't fed these a lot through the whole grow.. 1/4-1/2 tsp per g every 2-3rd watering of Veg+Bloom and that's it.. They had their final feeding last week and have been on straight water.. A couple of them are starting to lighten up though.
I usually flush for 2 weeks and let them yellow but I've heard some opinions on keeping them green and not starving them so I'm working on having my own opinion about it.  It would be killer smoke right now if I chopped based on the trichs and I think if I let them yellow out from here there would be more amber than I want. There's just so many fresh pistils popping. I did decide to chop my Purple Marty plant for Christmas smoke, so these can go as long as they need..

 I'm wondering... dark green, new pistils = nitrogen present...? Do you have a whole plant photo...? |

Those plants look fantastic. Harvest them when you think is the right time. I would probably go with right at 8 weeks and not look back.

I would definitely let them go to 9 weeks. When I was running AK back ten years ago, it went to 70 always, but I had a heavy sativa stretcher.....

One of them will come down tomorrow. The others will follow suit shortly after.

70-77 days depending on trics. For me personally, they look alittle too green still so let us know how they burn and taste when cured..
