Hi! Welcome to my first thread on icmag

I had a previous op at my old place but i bought a house with a nice big basement all to myself and ready to grow! So after loads of construction i ended up with two in my basement and with 4 x 20 amp circuits powering it. So with that power im planning on first trying out 8 x 600 watt hps lights for the flowering room but i might have to later step it up to 12 lights

in my veg room in currently a 400w hps with a metal halide conversion bulb in it. i have 2 x 4ft fluorescents with two bulbs in each (so 4 x 4ft t5 lights) that will go in there eventually as i build up my grow. there is an 8in inline fan for intake to both rooms. veg room has a 4in inline fan for exhaust. The bigger plants in there are white widow x Ak and some sour vortex but those wil grow to be some mothers. im just going to flower all of these ak seeds for my first flower


and so heres where i started with over 40 ak 47 seeds and germed them all in a paper towel. so far i have planted almost 30 and some still to be put into some soil. the soil im using for all of these is fox farm ocean forest. I have all the fox farm nutes and also the dyna gro nutes. i plan to test them out to see what will work best for me

are the seeds f2s?are they from serious seeds ?cant wait its one of my favorite strains

The seeds were given to me by a buddy who was growing the aks so im not sure exactly how he came about the seeds.
also the sour vortex i have is from a buddys stuff as well

now on the other hand the white widow x ak mix is from world of seeds medical collection from attitude and thats what i have left from my last seed order from them so thats why those are going to be moms

gotta check all these new ones out tho that ill be starting up soon!!

dude becareful putting seeds directly into foxfarm ocean forest soil dude. ive lost hundreds of dollars worth of seeds because it is a strong soil mix. use foxfarm light warrior for starting seeds or u mite regret it bro. just lookin out.

thanks for the tip. i have some root organics that the rest of the plants are in. i guess i was just gonna put ro for the ones i knew were moms and im gonna flower the aks.

u think it'll really affect them that much??
well im hoping that these ones will survive the ocean forest now or i might have to give my buddy another call..... lol then use the root organics from now on. i have the regular and i also have the green lite. what would be better to use? or does someone know what a better soil that is for seeds and clones?

any tips are much appreciated

so far so good with the baby aks. 100% of the ones that have been germed and been placed into the soil have sprouted and are lookin good!

i also put up my flourescent lights so check em out and

what up ya'll! its been about a week since ive updated this and im glad to say that all the little aks are still alive and well! got a couple pics of those
my sour vortex and WWAK mother plants are getting pretty mature now too
they look like their getting ready to be cloned so heres whats goodie

Alright so i decided to make a table so i could raise up the fluorescents a little higher and put the 400 watt under it. Also added a 600 watt ipower to the veg room!!!
now the girls(hopefully all girls!) are loving the new situation
the room will be more complete tomorrow after i cut some clones and stick some more of em under the 400
check it out and let me know what you think of the mother plants if anyone is reading this lol i was wondering if i should top my mother plants cuz they r startin to look a little lanky and i want some more bushy moms.

hey guys i havent updated this thread in a minute due to the holidays
MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyone!!!! and a HAPPY NEW YEAR

definitely have some progress in the room. with all the lights in the veg room i also have 2 600w on right now in the flowering room(im using it as a veg room still tho) so far i have all the ak's still alive and well and all well over 6 inches tall. Im gonna flower at a foot so i cant wait til they get there. i put up my 4in inline exhaust with the carbon filter on it to help the heat in the flower room so now its staying constantly under 80 so its good to go

\im about to be putting up two more of the 600w hps lights cuz they are outgrowing the lights they are under. so ill be posting a couple pics of those sooner or later. also got some clones from the WWxAK and also the sour vortex so we will see how those go and also planted some seeds they are cali hash plant, L.A. Affie, and also G13cheese so those pics wiill be on the next post
